Sunday - Sunny and warmish

I woke up the first time around 9, went downstairs and F got dressed and then took his mother out to the onsen. I went back to bed for a couple more hours of sleep.

I got up, dressed, and waited for F to come back.  He came back somewhere around 12:30. We both relaxed for a while, and talked about where to go for lunch. F had taken his mother for lunch, but wanted to come out with me too.

I suggested Kitchen Futaba up the road, with another restaurant in mind in case Futaba was closed. We went to Futaba. We had to sit at the counter, but had a fairly good meal. F had the paella with seafood and I had the baguette sandwich. It was good but a bit messy.

After lunch, F and I went to the Chido Museum. They were having their annual sword/katana exhibition so F was very happy! As always, I found it a bit difficult to enjoy them. The craftsmanship is incredible of course, but they are killing instruments. Their entire purpose is to kill people. Shudder.

We went over to S-mall when we finished and had a drink or an ice cream cone (F) at the coffee shop. After that, I did a little shopping at the hundred yen shop. I bought more than I thought I would, but that’s okay!

We decided to do our grocery shopping next and went to the grocery store. We picked up something  for F’s mother’s dinner and then something for our dinner for the next couple of days.

We brought the food back to the house. F gave his mother her food and I came upstairs. For dinner, I suggested going to Kappa Sushi. It’s not as good as Kintaro, but I could get fries and unusual sushi if I wanted. It’s also better than Kula Sushi in my opinion.

F booked us in online and then we drove over a little bit before our reservation. We got in right away despite being early. Our meal was fine. We had a few different things like tempura, I had my fries and some nankotsu. I enjoyed it. F said it was okay, which is almost high praise!

After dinner we stopped in at a drugstore and picked up a few necessities. I got some dishwashing liquid and some laundry detergent for me.

We came back to the house and relaxed. I watched an episode of Ted Lasso, Rainbow I think. It was full of lines from Rom-Coms and I was killing myself laughing.

Now I’m YouTubing, but I’m trying to get to bed a tad early as I don’t really need to stay up late tonight!  Come back later if you will and hear all about my Monday. Until tomorrow….
