Friday - Rainy and Cold again
I woke up before my alarm again. Not sure why that is happening. I came back to the room and got back into bed to watch the news. It was cold in the room!
I had a quiet morning. I went downstairs to use the washroom around 10:30 and heard K getting some kerosene near the washroom. I heard a big crash and ran the rest of the way down the stairs. K had knocked over some of the kerosene. She used some newspaper to clean it up, which was fine, but it wasn’t enough. Then, she took the soaked newspaper and tried to throw it into my plastic recycling bag. Yikes. I grabbed some paper towels and cleaned up the rest of the mess. I also filled up her kerosene tank for her. I’m so nice.
I did a couple of loads of laundry today, hung it up in my room and did a few other things. I did plan a lesson today, so I didn’t get any Christmas cards written in the afternoon.
I went down to cook dinner around 5:30 and got things started for dinner. Tonight I did my usual pasta dinner and that was nice. I used a nice sauce and all the pasta disappeared! We had it with salad and some roast beef that we bought at the store last night. It was all very nice.
I did the dishes and then F and I tried to find my Christmas tree but failed. Neither of us has any idea where it is. I have my ornaments, but not my tree. Darn! We might get a new one, I was thinking about it since the tree itself is rather old anyway. Wonder where it ended up!
We came upstairs and I watched some Apple TV and wrote a few Christmas cards. Finally! I didn’t do too many but at least I did some.
I took a shower and then came back and watched YouTube and then got stuck into my blogging. And that’s it. Somehow it is very late again and I need to get some sleep.
