Saturday - Cloudy, cold and rainy
I woke up this morning quite late. I’d forgotten to set my alarm last night so I was rather surprised that I did wake up fairly early. Well, sort of. I got up, dressed, and waited for F to come back. And waited. And waited. He didn’t get back until after 1 pm.
Since we were all hungry I suggested going to a keiten sushi place. F thought it was a good idea and made us a reservation for Kula Sushi. The three of us bundled up in the car and drove over to the restaurant. We had an okay meal. It wasn’t great, but it was fine and quick so fair enough.
We came back to the house afterwards to drop off K. F wanted to spend a few minutes at the house before we went off again, but where? I had a couple of ideas in mind and was going to suggest them, but F made a dumb joke about my suggestions before I gave them and I was really upset with him. I decided not to tell him and got a bit upset. He did ask about going out for coffee, I said okay and he changed his mind and we just stayed in for a while.
It was a bad afternoon really. I know that F wanted to relax and be in the house, I want to get the heck out of the house. Around 7 pm F out to get his mother something to eat, then we went out to Gusto for dinner.
There was a bit of an odd thing happen when we were on our way to the restaurant. F pulled into the handicapped area of the grocery store. He said that he was going to park there because he was on crutches from the doctor this morning. I looked at him. I kept trying to ask him if he needed to go to the grocery store, but he kept talking. Finally, I just interrupted him and asked him if he needed something from the grocery store. He then realized that we weren’t planning to go inside tonight!
He drove over to the restaurant, we parked and went in. It wasn’t too busy inside tonight and we got a good seat. We looked at the menu. I decided to have a hamburger with two pieces of spicy Korean sauced chicken. I had it with bread and soup plus drink bar. F had kara-age with rice and drink bar. I was nice and got us both the drinks so F didn’t have to go and get them. We drank a lot!
After our meal, we came back to the house. I watched Resident Alien at 11pm and during it did some of my basket. It looks beautiful BUT it’s turning into a hexagon rather than a circle. I’m wondering if I should continue or take it back. I guess I’ll keep going for now. It’s a bit hard to do the work as I’m using four strands of yarn at once and trying to crochet quite tightly.
I had a quiet evening, I watched some YouTube and caught up on some emails that needed reading as well.
I’m not terribly sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow. F has an appointment with his car place at noon tomorrow, but I have no idea what we’ll do afterwards. It has to be something that doesn’t make him walk too much.
