Wednesday - Cloudy and cool
I didn’t wake up early this morning, so that was nice. I got up, went downstairs, and then came back upstairs and watched the news and snoozed a little bit more.
My friend texted to say she’d be leaving Sakata around 12 so that was good. I had worried in case her plans changed. They didn’t.
I had a fairly quiet morning around the house. I had breakfast. I said hello to K but she just looked at me! I took my breakfast upstairs and ate. I got dressed after a few minutes of changing my mind!
I went downstairs, said goodbye to K, and then I left. My friend wasn’t quite here yet, but she came within 5 minutes of me going outside. We talked about a couple of ideas for lunch and ended up going to ….Mosburger! It was rather fun. We both had burgers, but different types. I had one with cheese from Hokkaido on it and it was nice.
We chatted for a while, masked up when not eating or drinking, and then decided we’d like to move to a different place. We went to Starbucks and had decaf lattes. We chatted a bit more and then we ran out of time. I asked my friend to drop me off at S-Mall which she did. She left to go on her way, and I went into the mall. I did a bit of shopping and then went to Doutor to wait for F. He didn’t take too long to come and get me. After he had his drink, we hit up the grocery store to get something for K’s dinner and breakfast. As usual, F bought way too much, but whatever.
We came back to the house and I put my stuff away. I ended up having to give K her food and I added in a drink because I’m nice like that.
F and I left after a few minutes and went to Gusto. F tried to get me to go other places along the way but I didn’t want noodles tonight. I was wearing a newish blouse and I can’t eat noodles neatly. He was a bit upset with me, but honestly. I get tired of him trying to change the rules on me all the time.
We got to Gusto and got a table near the door. I did the drink bar runs and we had an okay meal. I had some spicy chicken and F had filet katsu. He said his was okay, mine was pretty tasty.
We came back to the house and F was really grumpy. He has this thing where he gets mad at me if I don’t jump out of the car the exact second we get back to the house. He’s actually being rather insulting to me and he’s likely to get a reaction that he isn’t expecting if he keeps it up.
We came upstairs to the room. F went and took a shower, I watched the news from earlier in the day and then This is Going to Hurt at 11 pm, the new hospital drama. It’s very good so far. It’s very British and quite rude too!
And that’s about it for my day. Tomorrow I’m off downtown again in order to get my hair cut. It’s been months and I really need to get my shaggy hair tamed!
