Friday - Thunderstorms and then showers, clearing later on
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I think I heard F leave too, but I can’t be sure. I got up soon after I woke up, went downstairs and then did the watching news from the bed bit. I did take a bit of a nap, but the sky got very dark again and there was yet another thunderstorm.
When I got moving I was planning to do a load of laundry, but K was doing one. Oh no! No big deal. I grabbed my breakfast, ate it and a bit later, I checked the washer again. It was empty. I’m glad that she didn’t leave her clothes in the washer. F is the bad one for doing that.
I did a load of laundry, and I’ll probably do more on Monday or Tuesday. I watched something off Amazon…more James May and then I checked out a few other things that are available to me. I only have Amazon Prime for a month….I have to watch things I can finish or I need to see the last bits from.
F stopped by for a while this afternoon. He was driving someone who needed to be somewhere for a while, so he came for a break. It was nice to see him.
I had lunch and after that watched the news. When the news was over I relaxed a bit. F said that he’d be really late tonight. Of course, he called at 5:50 to say he was on his way back. I didn’t think he was too late!
I went down to the kitchen and did a few things to get ready for dinner. I washed my dishes from the day and then the salad…no, not in the same water! I prepared some eggplant and waited for F. He said he would eat a bit of dinner, but he wasn’t very hungry. I decided to cook two portions of spaghetti for the three of us. I knew I was hungry, but K doesn’t always eat a lot of spaghetti and F already said he wouldn’t. It was enough, and we even had a little left over!
Over dinner, F said that he would like to go to the onsen tonight so he asked his mother if she’d like to go too. She said yes. I got to stay at the house and do the dishes. Yay for me!
I didn’t mind that much. I hadn’t used too many pans today and things weren’t terribly dirty. No big deal. I listened to my British movie podcast and got things done.
I went upstairs and watched a TV programme off the Fire Stick and then relaxed for a bit.
When F came back he actually wanted to go out again fairly soon. He wanted to go to a convenience store. He did ask me if I wanted to go today too and I said yes. We went to the store and grabbed a few things. It was fun.
When we came back, I took a shower and then came upstairs. I watched a few things off YouTube and started blogging.
Tomorrow could be a busy day. F and I have doctor appointments in the morning and then he has an appointment with his insurance lady later in the day. I hope we have time to do other things too!
