Tuesday - Warm and cloudy, humid, with rain at night

I woke up when my alarm went off this morning. I didn’t get up right away, but after a few minutes, I went downstairs, came back up and put on the news. I ended up snoozing a bit late, but did get up and went downstairs to grab breakfast.

When I came back to the room, I put on the first of four episodes of The Mentalist. I got it done today. Woot. I really enjoyed it. I would have preferred to take my time with it, but today was the last day on the streaming service I have. For a bit of the time, I sat on the bed and did some crocheting on my scarf. It’s going well. 

Lunch was fine, I had lunch a little early then came back upstairs and ate while watching Patrick Jane and friends. When I finished The Mentalist, I decided to watch the first episode of Cold Case, which is also leaving today. I loved the series and have watched most of it, but I couldn’t remember how it started before. If I had more time I would have rewatched it too.

I watched the news as well, I had to watch part of it on the DVR as I’d missed the beginning. F phoned while I was watching. He said he was coming back soon.

I went downstairs and started to get ready for dinner. F came back fairly soon tonight.  I made quite a good dinner tonight too. I air-fried some eggplants with some green peppers and sausages. I also made some okra in the microwave. When I got dinner on the table, I hollered for F.  He finally came down. I tried to make K serve herself tonight, but she really didn’t want to. She’s not a child, I’m not sure why I should put food on her plate!

Dinner was pretty good. We had blueberries again with ice cream. They were very good.  

I did the dishes and they weren’t too bad tonight. I did use any pans, and my air fryer is quite easy to clean. I was done before 9 pm.  

F and I went out around 9:30 to MaxValu. I went for groceries as F wasn’t doing well tonight. The store was out of a lot of things that I wanted. That was annoying. How do they run out of frozen veggie mix? Or salads? I got some stuff but will have to work hard to make a meal out of them.

We came back to the house and I put away the shopping. Then, I went upstairs. I watched the FBI International programme, did a little crochet through it and afterwards turned off the TV. 

I’m really not sure what I’m going to get up to tomorrow. I’ve finished my show, so I can catch up with some of the stuff on my DVR which would also be good. I hopefully will be able to make some guacamole for dinner and then we’ll have some salad and tortilla chips for dinner. Maybe something else too if I can shift myself!
