Monday - Hot and Sunny, but humid

I woke up this morning and F had already left for work. I got up, went downstairs and came back and watched the news. I turned off the news after a while and had just put my head down for a snooze when F came into the room!  He had forgotten something. We chatted for a moment and then he left again.

I had a quiet morning. To be honest, I slept through a lot of it. I got up and grabbed breakfast and watched the news from early this morning. After that, another nap! I slept a little longer than I meant to, but I got up finally, went downstairs and made myself lunch. I didn’t see K at all. I wasn’t sure if she had food today or not as I didn’t notice things gone from the fridge. 

I went back upstairs, ate lunch and watched a new-for-me show called Jean-Claude Van Johnson. It was a hoot. It starred Jean-Claude Van Damme as himself. His alter-ego is a spy and his cover was a movie star or something like that. He talks about all his movies that I watched when I was younger, which is hilarious. He’s not a very good spy!

I watched the news and then around 6 pm I went downstairs to start dinner. Tonight I was making pizza so I needed to cook some of the toppings. I did that. F had said that he’d be really late tonight, so I got dinner on the table for K and me around 7.  We had a small pizza and some salad. It was really nice. I made a second pizza and some of it disappeared. F called then and said he was on his way back. I was surprised because he said he’d be late. He was a little, but I thought really late! Oh well. He just ate the last half of the pizza I’d made for K and I and wouldn’t let me make another one for him. I was disappointed as I was still a bit hungry, but whatever.

I did the cleanup and then went upstairs. After a bit, F took a shower and later on I did too. I watched another episode of Jean-Claude Van Johnson and then turned off the TV. 

That’s pretty much it for me for tonight. I’ve been catching up on my YouTubing today. Oh, I also did get a few dresses out to see if they would work for me. The one I was most hoping for is a little too snug and one could really do with a wash as it is a bit dusty. Still, I did better than I thought I would. I also pretty much packed my suitcase for our trip. I hope I packed the right things!
