Tuesday - Sunny but humid, warm

I heard F in the morning but didn’t really wake up. When my alarm went off I ripped off my eyemask and wasn’t happy at all. He’d left the room light on and it was so bright I couldn’t see. I said a few choice words and then got up.  After a trip downstairs I watched the news and then took a bit of a nap. I slept fairly late again today, went downstairs and grabbed my breakfast.

I had a quiet day today really. I printed out my trip itinerary so I can hopefully go and buy train tickets when we come back from our little trip.

I had lunch and watched another episode of Bake-Off. I was watching the Master Class episodes. I enjoy them, but it’s hard knowing I’ll never make the things they make. 

After the news and a call from F, I went downstairs to work on dinner. It was a lot of work tonight. I opened the last two avocados we bought at Costco but they were hard as bricks. I guess I put them in the fridge too soon. I ended up cutting one up, breading it and using my air fryer to make avocado fries. They worked fairly well, so that was good. 

I also baked some chicken, did some okra and gave F and K rice. With the last of the egg and panko leftovers, I made a kind of omelette and baked it in the air fryer. It wasn’t bad at all! I had planned to make pizzas originally, but I just couldn’t. There was too much to do and I was hopping. 

Dinner got fairly good reviews and when I was clearing up, F kept asking me when we should come back on Friday. How would I know? It depends on what we do and how much fun we’re having. I know that his sister would like to know because she will pop in to visit their mother, but I haven’t the foggiest.

I did the dishes which took a while and then I went upstairs and relaxed in front of my computer. I planned to take a shower, and I knew that F was going to have one too, but when?  It got to 10 pm and F hadn’t come upstairs yet, so I decided to go and take mine. I had a nice one and then came back upstairs.

I watched FBI International at 11 and it was okay. I’m still on the fence about that one. F did come up and he took a shower too. He went to bed and didn’t really talk to me at all.  He wanted to go out tonight and get food for his mother for the next few days but I pointed out that it would be better to get it tomorrow morning. It’ll be fresher and lately, there is NOTHING in the deli department in the grocery stores at night. 

I am trying to get ready to go to Sendai. I packed my case on Monday, but I have a few things that I need to put in yet. I also have a few last-minute things to pack tomorrow. I’ve updated my iPod and now I’m charging it. It’s nice to hear some different music than what is in the car!

And that’s it for me. We’ll be off in the morning and if all goes well will be back on Friday night. So no updates for the next couple of days, possibly until Saturday if I’m tired on Friday. Come back and see me later eh! Until….
