Thursday - Sunny, rainy at night
I woke up before my alarm this morning. I was rather sad about that, but got up and went downstairs. I came back upstairs and got dressed. I did snooze a little bit too. I did hear the doorbell at one point, but when I went downstairs, F’s sister had already let herself into the house. Grr. That annoys me rather a lot. Apparently, she took her mother out for the day, but I didn’t know that!
I did a couple of loads of laundry today and hung them up in my room. I changed the towels downstairs too. Yay me.
I had a delicious lunch when it was lunchtime. I had a leftover baked potato with cheese and tuna salad on it. Yum. I had other stuff too, but that was the best part!
I watched the fourth part of Killing Eve today as I ate lunch. Lunch was great, as was the show! I watched the news and did a bit of work on my ornaments. I’ve done a couple more and I quite like them. They need to be finished, loops added etc, but I like them a lot.
F called a bit after 5 and then I went downstairs. I got things set up for dinner. F came back from work and I greeted him. I told him that dinner would be ready in under 20 minutes and that he should try to be on time. He vanished.
I cooked. I was just making pasta with a bought sauce so there wasn’t much to do. I did parboil some sausages too. I got dinner on the table, along with everything else. I tried to get K up, and I yelled for F. Nobody came. I was sitting at the table for ages and then I decided to just eat. I had nearly finished my first bowl of pasta when F showed up. He talked to his mother and she said that she’d already eaten at his sister’s and she didn’t want to eat tonight. Well, it would have been nice if she’d told me that before I started to cook!
Anyway, F and I ate and enjoyed dinner. I cleaned up afterwards and made K a plate for lunch tomorrow or whenever. I did the dishes and listened to some podcasts.
I came upstairs when I was finished. I was rather tired. I decided to put on a show from the Fire Stick, so I put on The Boys. This was quite the episode. It took place during the Herogasm and I really don’t want to add any more details. There was nudity and violence and it was as crazy as the rest of the series has been. After it was over, I didn’t feel like watching something I had to think about, so I put on an episode of Bake Off. It was the Diana-gate episode. Interesting to see it again.
F and I went over the questionnaire I need to fill out before I can get my next Covid shot. It didn’t take too long as I had a basic English translation of it.
And that’s about it for my day. Tomorrow F is going to the hospital to see about having an operation. He doesn’t want me to go with him this time, so I’ll be here in the house for a bit.
I’m hoping that we’ll be able to go and see Wakanda Forever tomorrow night. I’m getting vaccinated on Saturday so I’m not sure I’ll feel up to it. A friend had a really bad reaction to her shot, so you never know.
