Tuesday - Sunny and cool
I woke up this morning when F gave a huge sneeze while he was getting ready this morning. It was quite a sneeze! I had to go downstairs and then came back and went back to sleep for a while. I overslept and missed all my early alarms. I finally dragged myself out of bed around 9:30. Yikes.
I went downstairs again and then got dressed. I came back upstairs, watched the early on news and then snoozed a bit more. Yes, I did. I got up a bit later and grabbed breakfast.
I had a quiet morning and afternoon. I watched an episode of Killing Eve and then another show that I taped late at night. I ended up watching the news too.
F called to say that he was on his way back. He said he bought some flowers too. I went downstairs and started on dinner. I heated up the stew and also prepared a few other dishes too. I did a hot mushroom marinate and we had some nikuman as well. I told F that dinner would be ready soon and that he could come down soon.
I was putting things on the table when I saw K try to call F. I could barely hear her, there was no way that F could hear her upstairs. It turned out that she wanted me to fill up her kerosene tank. I did of course, but it was rather a pain in the butt for me to do it just then. I was preparing dinner and there is almost no way to keep my hands from smelling like kerosene. Just what you want when you are touching food and plates and other things. Sigh. I’m actually not sure why K can’t do it anymore.
F came downstairs and I told him that dinner would be ready soon. He asked for a few minutes. That was fine.
Dinner actually got good reviews. I really thought it was nice. I did get a little annoyed as usual when people just don’t start eating while the food is hot. I hate cold food, why don’t they?
I did the dishes after dinner and then a few minutes later F and I went out to Mina to buy groceries. He came into the shop too. It was okay, but he never listens to me. I asked him to meet me in the bread section. When I got there, he was on his way out of it down the aisle going somewhere else. Sigh.
We got most of the stuff on our list, but not everything. Sigh. We bought our groceries and then came back to the house.
I put the groceries away and then went upstairs. Around 11 I put on the TV and watched FBI: International again. It wasn't as good as usual, but it was fine.
I turned off the TV at midnight and then started in on my blog.
Today’s been okay. Yesterday I put my quilt into its cover and put it on my bed. It was nice and cozy last night. Today I got a good start on my next column. For this part, I’m not actually writing about movies! I hope it goes well. I’ve written three or four pages already, so yay me!
Not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. Maybe I’ll start the proper part of my column…who knows? Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
