Thursday - Cold and rainy

I overslept a bit this morning but did get up and went downstairs. I came back up, dressed and got back into bed. 

I got up a bit later, grabbed my breakfast and came upstairs. I watched a bit of the end of Natural Born Killers (still disturbing) and then tuned into YouTube.

I also worked on my column and got it finished. It turned up being a little long, I hope that it’ll not need to be cut. I sent it in to the editor finally. Done! Whew.

F called around 5:20 to say that he was coming back so I went downstairs fairly soon after to start dinner. Tonight I kept it simple, I did roasted veggies with baked chicken. We had salad and some leftovers from last night as well. Yay for that. It was quite good. I also got dinner on the table around 7 and got the dishes done by 8:30. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to put my feet up for a while yet.

We went out for groceries for tomorrow’s lunch and breakfast. We went through the grocery store and picked up a few things. F mentioned before we went out that he’d order food for dinner tomorrow. That was fine with me. I did some big-time cooking this week, I’d love a break! However, he didn’t order before we left. When we got back, he tried to order but the computer wouldn’t accept the order tonight. Sigh. He says he’ll order tomorrow so I hope he does, or I’ll have to scramble to find food for dinner!

We had a fairly quiet evening back at the house. I watched Fargo, the series on the Fire Stick. Okay, I just watched the first episode, but it was cool. It was very reminiscent of the film Fargo but just different enough to be interesting. 

And that’s about it for me. Tomorrow I get to take the night off apparently! F will be late as he has to drive to Yamagata and it is supposed to snow on the roads. I hope he’s okay. 

I almost started my Christmas cards tonight, but I didn’t. I did print out some labels for the envelopes though, isn’t that good? It’s a start. I’ll have to do a lot of cards in a short time. Oh well.
