Tuesday - Rainy, thundery and not very nice

I woke up this morning before my alarm went off. I went downstairs, and then came back upstairs and watched the news. After that, I fell asleep. I woke up about an hour later but I really was asleep.

I went downstairs to grab my breakfast and came back to eat. I relaxed for a bit and watched a bit of YouTube.

Around 1pm I went downstairs and got ready for the visitors. They showed up on time. I was surprised though, I thought that it would just be the plumber and my brother-in-law. Well, my sister-in-law came too. She got her mother up which I was a bit surprised about, but whatever. I kept myself busy by making coffee and serving it to the family. I did offer some to the plumber, but he didn’t take me up on it. Smart man as it was horrible! I rarely make coffee so I’m out of practice.

Finally they left, the plumber had to replace the seat on our toilet as the heater in it had stopped working. It is nice to have warm place in the toilet room again!

I grabbed lunch and went upstairs. I watched an episode of The Great British Sewing Bee and quite enjoyed it. 

I watched the US news at 4 and about 5:30 or so I went downstairs to cook dinner. Today, I did a pork/veggie stir-fry and I magicked up a dish from leftovers, sort of a tuna aloo curry thing. It actually turned out really well.

We had a nice dinner and afterwards I did the dishes. I went upstairs and changed my clothes. I waited for F to be ready to go but he didn’t say anything to me, so at 9:30 I went downstairs and waited for him. 

We went to MaxValu and I went in. I was thrilled to see that they had actual Brussel sprouts! I got two bags as they are very small. But yay! I’m going to do burgers from the store and shrimp pilaf tomorrow night for dinner. We might have some Brussel sprouts tomorrow too. I’m not sure yet. I got some other stuff in the grocery store and then paid and came back to the car.

We came back to the house and I put away the groceries. Some of the stuff was for F and I gave it to him.

We came upstairs and I watched the FBI trilogy thing. It finished quite late, but it was good. I had seen it before, but I didn’t mind watching it again.

So, that’s about it for me for today. Tomorrow I need to write a couple of Christmas cards and then I’m not sure! Come back later if you like and read all about my day. Until tomorrow….
