Saturday - Clear and sunny

We slept in this morning and it was wonderful! I had set my alarm for 10 am and did get up, but went back to bed for a while. F was snoozing for much of the morning too, although he did use his computer for a while.

We got up and went out around 2pm I think.  I had suggested going to Kissa Marina, and F was okay with that. We went and had a nice meal. Their main lunch rush was over, so we were able to get a table. F had ginger pork on rice and I had my usual curry pasta. It was nice, but I didn’t think it was too curry-flavoured today, but I could be wrong.

We went to the Chido Museum in the afternoon and spent a while there. We toured through the Hina dolls and were pleased to see that some of the dolls were new this year. We also renewed my membership too. We did a tour of the exhibition room too. We were lucky to go today as it was the second last day for the Katana/Sword show. It is F’s favourite so I’m glad he got to see it.

We bought gas after the museum and visited the bank…to be honest I think we did it in the opposite order! We drove over to Komeda Coffee and had the dessert set and a cup of something hot and nice. Around 6:30 we went to the grocery store and I did a little shopping. I picked up a bento for K and some supplies for F to make her breakfast in the morning. I’m so nice!

We came back to the house and fed K, and then a bit later F and I went out for our dinner. I suggested a few places and F picked the Chinese restaurant near where we used to live. It was a good choice and we had a good if expensive meal. We shared half a deep-fried chicken, some vegetables in a salty-garlic sauce, and some bifun noodles and as usual, F ordered his yakisoba in a starch sauce. I didn’t have any of that.  What I had was good.

After our meal, we came back to the house and just relaxed. I took a shower tonight and then watched FBI afterwards. It was fine tonight.

And really, that was my day. F and I did have a quiet moment at the restaurant when we realized the time was 12 years from the time of the earthquake. We didn’t do anything formal this year, but we did remember the day with each other.

Tomorrow I have a bit of an early start as F is having a massage and I am hoping to go with him and get dropped off at the mall for a bit of shopping and getting up to mischief! Or, something like that!

So, if you have nothing better to do, come back later and read all about my Sunday. Until tomorrow….
