 Wednesday - Sunny and warm in the afternoon, cooler at night

I woke up this morning quite early and went downstairs. I came back up and after a few minutes went back to bed. I slept quite late. I woke up after 10 am. F was still gone but came back a bit later. He had an okay visit with the doctor.

I was dressed by then and F wanted to go out right away to get brunch, but I didn’t want to go just yet. We left a little after 12.  F chose the restaurant today and as usual, it was his favourite fish place. I had the daily special which was deep-fried oysters and some sashimi, and F had a sashimi lunch. They were both good.

We did a little shopping at a drugstore and then went to the main post office where I sent off a package of yarn for the daughter of a person I know. After that, we decided to go back to the house and relax for a while. 

That’s what we did. I spent some time on my computer and then took a short nap. F spent time on the bed and probably watched TikTok or something. Around 4 pm we started to move and then left the house. 

We drove out to Mikawa and went to the mall. We bought our tickets for the movie and then went to Doutor to have a drink before the movie. 

We went back to the cinema, bought our popcorn and drinks and then went in to see The Fabelmans at the cinema.  We were the only two people in the cinema! That was cool and a little sad. The film was pretty good and we both enjoyed it. I didn’t think I would, but I actually rather enjoyed it.

After the movie, we came back to Tsuruoka and had dinner at Coco Ichibanya.  I had this year's version of spice curry…and I didn’t like it. They had too much of the wrong kind of spice. F had a regular curry with a cutlet and he seemed to like his. We both had lassi to drink.

We came back to the house and came upstairs. I took a shower and then cleaned up the garbage in the house. I had forgotten about it or I would have done it before my shower. 

I had a quiet evening in front of my computer. I’m off to bed soon. 

Tomorrow F is off to his work party. I get to K-sit and have dinner with her. Sigh. That isn’t really something I want to do but whatever. It’s only one night.
