Wednesday - Cloudy and muggy, cool

I woke up when my alarm went off this morning. I got up, went downstairs and then came back and watched the BBC news. I turned off the TV after it was over and a few minutes later, I went back to bed for a while. 

I got up a while later and went down and grabbed breakfast. I was planning to do laundry but I didn’t 

I had a quiet morning and afternoon. I did watch some YouTube and later when I was eating lunch, I put on last night’s episode of Yellowstone. It was pretty good and started a few possibilities for the stories. 

I noticed while I was watching that F had texted me. He said his knees were hurting and he made a doctor’s appointment on Friday and was taking the rest of today off. Wow.

He came back while I was watching Yellowstone and basically went to bed.  I spent time in the room and then around 5:30 I went down to start dinner. I asked F if he wanted to come and eat but he wasn’t sure yet.

Downstairs, I washed dishes and got ready to cook. I made some guacamole tonight as I’d ripened a couple of avocados. I went upstairs to get a bag of tortilla chips. While I was up there I asked F if he wanted to have dinner and after a bit of indecision he said no. 

I went downstairs again and got on with dinner. Tonight I made Gapao rice so I cooked the pork, fried a couple of eggs and heated up the rice for us. It was good. We had some chips, salsa, and guacamole on the side, which was good too!

K liked her meal and said it was good a couple of times. I was able to speed through the cleanup tonight as there wasn’t that much to do and then I sorted out the garbage for going out. 

I went upstairs and sorted out my garbage there and left the bag for F to put his in. F went down later and got some food I think. He missed out on a nice meal really.

I took a shower and then came back upstairs. I watched an episode of an Apple TV+ show on my computer and did a little darning in of ends on my afghan while it was on. 

And that basically was my day. It was quiet but okay. Tomorrow I’m going to do some laundry if K doesn’t hog the machine and then it’ll be hanging around my room!
