Wednesday - Snowy, cool and clear too

I woke up this morning when F put on the light in the bedroom while he was getting ready for work. For some reason it shone directly into my eyes and woke me up. And I even wear an eye mask to sleep in, so it was bright! I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and went back to bed. I slept for a couple more hours…turning off some of my alarms as well.

I got dressed and went downstairs. I checked the washing machine and then came upstairs and took my dirty laundry downstairs. I threw it in the machine and then I washed it. Finally!  I did one load today. I grabbed my breakfast and then took it upstairs to eat. I got the room ready for my laundry to be hung up and then I ate breakfast. 

I hung up my clean laundry in my room and then I spent a bit of time watching the news and also some YouTube. It was a quiet morning and afternoon up here. 

I did do something of note today. I finally, after two months, emptied out my suitcase! I haven’t figured out where to put my fancy clothes yet, although I’m thinking I should either hand wash them or take them to a dry cleaner. My dress will most likely need a good press afterwards and honestly, so will my pantsuit. 

F called around 5:30 so after a bit, I went downstairs and got started on dinner. Tonight was a fairly simple one, but it was good. I did hamburgers from the grocery store with gravy from Canada, wedge potato fries, salad and spaghetti salad. I think it was nice. Most of the food disappeared, but there was a bit left over for K’s lunch tomorrow.

I went to the washroom and F was doing the dishes when I came back. I appreciated it, but I chased him off nicely. He hadn’t filled up the basin with fresh hot water, he’d just thrown half the dishes in too. He was using the right sponge however and that was a good thing. Anyway, I did the dishes, dried them and put everything away. 

After I finished, I had to do up the burnable garbage. It took a while and since I was throwing out the old sponges today, I used one to clean the garbage can. Yay me.

I had a little chat with F and decided that I would go upstairs and get changed and then we’d go to the grocery store. It took me a few minutes as I was really tired.

We went to the grocery store and I went in. I got a few things for dinner for the next couple of nights. I hope I got enough stuff! We came back to the house and I put the groceries away. 

I went upstairs to relax and after a bit, I put on the last episode of Deadloch. It was really good and I didn’t guess whodunnit. 

That’s about it. Tonight is a bit cold, so F has turned off the water so it doesn’t freeze. That makes it a bit difficult to use the washroom before bed!
