Thursday - Snowy, cloudy and colder
I woke up a couple of minutes before my alarm this morning and then got up. I made a trip downstairs and then came back up. I put on my clothes and then went back to sleep for a nap.
I got up a lot later and then did a load of laundry. While it was in the washing machine I ate my breakfast. When I went downstairs to get breakfast, K was up in the living room and her daughter was in with her too. I didn’t see either of them!
I hung up my clothes and watched the news. After that, I watched a bit of YouTube before getting lunch. F popped in for a few minutes too.
I had a fairly quiet afternoon, which was nice after yesterday’s rather busy day. During lunch, I watched another episode of The Closer. I have the feeling that I have watched some of the series before, but I don’t remember when that would have been!
F called me after 5:15 and said he was on his way. After a bit, I went downstairs to start on dinner. Tonight I made toaster oven chicken, fries in the air fryer, salad and beets, plus dessert. We’d bought a simple dessert thing last night, I just had to mix it up. I did that, and it was rather nice.
I got dinner on the table a little after 7 pm and it went over quite well. Most of the food got eaten and dishes didn’t take too long. Whew.
I went upstairs around 9pm and relaxed with some YouTube. At 11pm I watched The Rookie and enjoyed that. F came up but was very tired tonight. He was up really late last night, so I’m glad he’s off to sleep a lot earlier tonight.
That’s about it for me. Tomorrow I should do another load of laundry and hopefully, I’ll have fun making dinner! I’m doing pizza tomorrow night. Let’s hope it goes well.
Oh, just a heads up, I’ll be away on Sunday night, so I won’t be blogging then. Don’t worry about me!
