Wednesday - Snowy and cold

We’ve had absolutely lovely weather for a while but it all changed today. It was much colder in the house today and outside too I think. Earlier in the day there wasn’t too much snow at all, so I didn’t go outside to shovel any of it anyway.

I woke up this morning around 7:30. F had already left for work. I went downstairs, then came back upstairs and went back to bed. I woke up a couple of hours later and went downstairs and then got dressed. And I stayed up!

I did a couple of loads of laundry today, things that I haven’t washed in a while, so that was good. I did my usual watching of YouTube and the news. Today for breakfast I made myself porridge and it was yummy!  I didn’t even put sugar on it and I liked it. 

I had lunch a little bit after 2 pm and while I ate I watched an episode of Fringe. It was a good one today where Walter was captured by bad guys who wanted him to tell them how to move between worlds. 

I watched the news after that and then some interesting YouTube stuff. F texted me to say that he would be late tomorrow but not tonight! He never did call to say he was on his way.

I went downstairs eventually to get started on dinner. Tonight I cooked some Brussel Sprouts, and some French Fries in the air fryer and then I did the wieners too. We also had some salad and potato salad. Dinner seemed to go over fairly well. No one said anything, but some seconds were had!

I did the dishes afterwards and then I did up the garbage in the kitchen. I cleared out a lot of crap out of fridge as well. We’ve been buying things for K’s meals, but she doesn’t always eat them, or she doesn’t eat them all. They just sit in the fridge for ages if I don’t go around and take them out.

I put the garbage bag in the genkan and then I went upstairs. I did up my garbage in the room and left the open bag for F’s stuff to be put in.

I took a shower and it was quite nice. For a change the water actually felt hot so it was enjoyable. I came back upstairs when I finished but it was a bit too late to watch TV. I ended up turning to YouTube as usual. 

And that’s about it for me for tonight. I may have to get up early tomorrow morning to help F leave. It depends how much snow there is outside and how much the snow ploughs blocked our driveway.
