Wednesday - Cloudy and muggy

I woke up early this morning when F’s alarm went off. He’d left already, so I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep. I woke up a couple of hours later when my alarm went off. I did my usual trip downstairs and then came upstairs and took a snooze. 

I got up later, went downstairs and made my breakfast. I brought it upstairs to eat and then watched some YouTube and the news on TV. 

Around lunchtime, I went downstairs and made my lunch. I brought that up to eat while I watched another episode of The Closer. Today was about Japanese women disappearing.  It might have been because of their husband or maybe not. Hmm. It was a good episode. 

Today, I worked on my hat again. I did a few rows and tonight I even moved the lifeline. I’m hoping to finish it soon. It fits better than the last one I made. 

F called after 5 and said he was on his way back. I went downstairs and got a start on dinner. I did a cucumber salad and then I tried to think of something else to make. I remembered I had a packet of dried seaweed salad, so I decided to make it. I translated the directions and first I had to soak the seaweed. I decided to do half of the packet and put it in a medium bowl. I’m so glad that I didn’t do all of the packet of seaweed since that stuff swelled up! I drained it afterwards and even found a simple sauce to make for it. 

Closer to 7 pm I put the wedge fries into the air fryer and also sautéed the sausages that I had bought for dinner. I got dinner on the table and it went over really well. I was surprised how much of the seaweed salad got eaten and most of the food disappeared. Yay! I guess I’ll have to do the seaweed salad again. 

After dinner, I washed the dishes and then did up the garbage in the kitchen. When I went upstairs I did up my garbage and let F put his in my bag. He took it downstairs and then I think took it outside!

I watched YouTube for a while and then went downstairs. I made myself some popcorn and brought it upstairs and watched another episode of Sugar. I’m quite enjoying it and Colin Farrell is really good in the show. Then again, when isn’t he?

And really, that’s it for me for this day. I didn’t do anything with my column today. I must really get on that. I either have to watch some movies or do some more research. Maybe both.
