Thursday - Windy, rainy, bit miserable
I woke up at 7 am this morning. Why? For the third morning in a row, F hadn’t turned off his alarm. Grr. I woke up again around 9 and got up. I was tying my robe closed when the door opened and F came back in. He’d had a driving assignment near the house and had time to kill. Okay then.
I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and got dressed. I didn’t go back to bed, at least not at first. I did go and join F on the bed after a while for some PG-13 snuggles. He left around 11 am. I was on my way to get my breakfast when I heard the doorbell ring. I went downstairs and answered the door. It was an older man from the neighbourhood and he gave me ¥100 and went on his way. That was a bit odd. He said a lot of things I didn’t understand, but that’s on me. Oh well.
I had my breakfast and then watched a bit of YouTube and then the news. I was in the midst of the news when F came back again. He was in the house for an hour or more. I don’t quite understand how he gets away with it! I did give him a cup of coffee this time.
He left and I went downstairs and got my lunch. It was nice and I enjoyed another episode of The Closer. Today’s episode was a sad one about a mother whose son died during an operation at a hospital.
Oh, and I finished my hat today! I got it done and it fits quite well. I tried doing some creative stitching along the way so it isn’t as smooth as the other one I made, but this one fits, so that’s a win!
F called after 5 again to say he was on his way. I went downstairs to get a start on dinner. Tonight I did a few things. I made another cucumber pickle thing and I stir-fried some fish with vegetables. F was complaining that he never gets fish but to be honest, I think fish is too expensive and I’m not that great at cooking it anyway.
I did the dishes after dinner and then went upstairs with my last can of root beer and some ice. I drank it and then a little bit after 10pm I went downstairs and took a shower.
I came back to the room and watched The Rookie: Feds and thought it was okay. I did some research after last week’s episode and I found out that the show has been cancelled. It’s a bit of a shame as it had potential, but I’m not a huge fan of it anyway.
After midnight I turned off the TV and I also turned off the lights for F in his half of the room. I watched some YouTube and did some stuff on my phone too.
That’s about it for me for today. It was a bit of a different day but that was okay.
Tomorrow F and I might go off to Yamagata city, but we aren’t sure when we will leave. I’m a tad worried about the weather, but we’ll see how things go.
