Saturday - Hot and Sunny
Amazing! I didn’t wake up because of F’s alarm clock today. It was so nice to be able to sleep in a bit late. I went downstairs early and then went back to sleep for a bit. Eventually, F came upstairs and after a little while asked if I wanted to go for lunch. I said no, that I had saved some bagels for us to have lunch tomorrow. I had thought that F and I would have lunch together. However, he said he didn’t want to eat….? He was willing to take me out….to a place that he approved of….but he wouldn’t eat in the house.
I got dressed and went downstairs and made my own lunch and then took it upstairs to eat. In all honesty I was quite upset that he didn’t want to eat with me. But his choice.
After I ate lunch I did feel a bit better. I asked him if he’d take me to a photography studio so that I could get my passport photos taken. The place I suggested was a photography store, they develop film and sell camera and such. F kept telling me that they didn’t do passport photos and we should go somewhere else (that is horrendously expensive and that he likes.) However, we arrived at the place I suggested and they had a sign on the window that said passport photos…so F was apologetic and surprised.
We went into the store and up to the counter. The lady that helped us was great. I had brought instructions for the photographer in Japanese since Canada’s photo requirements are so picky. I got my photos taken and the clerk adjusted the background and checked the measurements and finally everything was right. Whew. We paid and left.
We had to go back to the house to be there when K got back from her daycare, but we wanted to get a drink. I suggested going through Starbucks drive through…F drove past the store. I suggested going to another conbini on the way…F passed it. He turned into 7-11 and I wasn’t too happy. I don’t like that 7-11, I think it is boring. We got drinks and ice cream and then came back to the house to eat and drink them.
We ate downstairs but then I went upstairs to relax. F stayed downstairs and greeted K when she came back. After that, he came upstairs and went to sleep.
Around 7 pm I heard K start making noise downstairs, but F was still sleeping. I made a trip downstairs and then woke F up and suggested he make dinner for his mother. He didn’t have any ideas, so I suggested the microwave dishes that I had bought for her in the past. He finally used one for his mother.
Then, it was my turn. F said he didn’t want any dinner as he wasn’t feeling too well, so I just asked for Gusto. I wanted to have drink bar and I thought I could get something I’d like to eat there. F said he’d stay in the car at first and then when we arrived he said that he’d go in.
We went in and then after a few minutes were shown to a table. We ordered and our food arrived in a little while. I got a beef hamburg, F got a small piece of chicken. We shared an order of fries too.
After dinner, we went to MaxValu and picked up a few things for F to make K’s breakfast tomorrow. After that, we came back to the house and upstairs. I took a shower and then watched FBI afterwards. William Campbell was a guest star on it and it was a bit of a surprise to see him.
And that is mostly my day. It’s been a fairly quiet day. I’m glad I’ve got my photos done, but we didn’t get enough stuff done today. I hope F is up to doing more tomorrow. I want to get groceries, order a meal for K and I and swing by an electric shop to see if I can get a new waterpot for my tea. Wish me luck.
