Tuesday - Colder but sunny in the afternoon
I woke up early this morning, I think when F left, and then slept on until my alarm went off. I got up and then tried to go back to bed but I started watching some stupid video on my phone and then it was time to get up.
I went downstairs with some laundry and wanted to put it in the machine but…K had a bunch of her stuff in the washer. I assumed it was washed, but I didn’t know for sure. I decided to let her know passive aggressively that I wanted the washer, so I dumped my towels in the hallway in a pile! It wasn’t in the way or a tripping hazard where I left them.
I grabbed my breakfast and went upstairs again. I ate and a bit later went downstairs again. The washer was empty now, so I put my stuff in and did a couple of loads today. I hung them up in my room and put away the older laundry that was dry.
Between doing laundry so late in the day, and having to go downstairs fairly often, I didn’t have time to watch any programmes besides the news. I did get Alexa to play some music though.
I heard from F around 5:30 and it sounded like he was already on his way back. I went downstairs to start on dinner. Tonight I did garlic soy pork with cucumber pickles, radishes and salad. F was supposed to make rice last night, but he didn’t set up the cooker. I was a tad surprised when I opened it up tonight and it was empty. Luckily I had other options available! We finished off the raspberries too along with the Bocca puddings. That was nice.
Oh, and F’s stomach is a bit upset tonight. I warned him not to eat that bento last night. I wish he’d listen to me.
After dinner I did the dishes and it took a while. I was really tired. When I finished, I told F I was going upstairs to get ready to go shopping. I changed and sat down for a few minutes to wait for him. Around 9:30 I texted him to see if he was ready to go. There was no answer. I went downstairs ten minutes later and he seemed really surprised that I I still wanted to go out. But, I told him twice already that we needed to go out. ARGH.
Finally he was ready. Unfortunately, it was so late that we couldn’t go to the closest grocery store, so we drove over to MaxValu. I went in and did some shopping. I picked up a few things and then checked out.
I went back to the car and we started to go back to the house. However, I remembered that I needed a big envelope so I asked to go to the drugstore across the street. No joy. We tried a convenience store and I lucked out. I got a couple of big envelopes. Woot.
We came back to the house. I put the food away and came upstairs to watch TV. I watched FBI: Most Wanted and it was quite an interesting show. A woman was wanted for murder but she went on the run. Her ex-wife came to help her, but tried to keep her prisoner. It was quite a story.
Since midnight I’ve been watching a bit of YouTube and working on computer things. I need to get off to bed soon. It’s been a bit cold tonight. I even turned on the heater tonight.
I’m not sure what I’m going to get up to tomorrow. I need to work on that darn column and there’s dinner as well. Well, that’s it for me. Come back later if you like and hear all about my Wednesday. Until tomorrow….
