Monday - Sunny and then a bit rainy
Well, today started quite horribly! My phone started shrieking at 6:30 am and a disembodied voice recited, “Earthquake, Earthquake, Earthquake”. Not exactly what you want to hear at 6:30 am. I got up and opened the bedroom door. F had already gone, so I didn’t worry about him. I went downstairs and saw that K was up. Good for her? I never did feel an earthquake, but I know that someone in the prefecture below mine did.
I got a bit dressed and then went back to bed. I got up again a few hours later. I got up and grabbed my breakfast downstairs. I came back up to the room and ate. I watched the news and some YouTube. At 1:15 I discovered that Interview with the Vampire was on so I had to watch that. I missed the first 15 minutes so I can’t log it as a movie. Boo. I went downstairs a bit after 2 to grab lunch and came back upstairs. I caught the end of the movie, but recorded the middle bit.
I ate lunch, which was a bit big today and watched an episode of The Closer of course. I enjoyed it as usual.
Later on I sort of watched the 4 pm news, but not really and did some stuff on my computer. F called me after 5 pm to say he was on his way. I went downstairs a little earlier than usual to get things started.
Tonight I made a cucumber pickle, washed lettuce for a salad, plated some potato salad from the store and roasted some chicken in the toaster oven. I got dinner on the table very close to 7 pm so I was quite happy about that! Yay. Dinner was quite nice and most of it disappeared. I wasn’t stressed out either, so that was good!
I did the dishes afterwards and was finished before 8:30pm. I asked F if he wanted to go out. We had talked about going shopping a bit earlier. No, he didn’t want to anymore. I went upstairs to relax. I watched the end of Interview with the Vampire and then I watched a bit of YouTube.
F came upstairs around 10pm and almost immediately went to bed. He was tired. I took a shower around 10:30pm. When I was done and dressed, I made some microwave popcorn and brought it upstairs to eat.
Since F seemed to be asleep, I decided not to watch something on the TV so I watched some YouTube videos on my computer with my headphones on. I can be nice and thoughtful at times!
Since midnight I’ve been watching YouTube and working on my night-time computer stuff.
