Wednesday - Cloudy but warm
I woke up when my alarm went off this morning, I got up and went downstairs. I came back upstairs, changed and then went back to bed. I planned to sleep more, but I never did. I spent a lot of time watching videos and reading posts on my phone. Finally, I decided to just chuck it in and get up!
I got dressed, went downstairs and got my breakfast. I came upstairs to eat and watch some YouTube and the news. I had a quiet afternoon basically. When I went downstairs to get my lunch, I noticed that the washing machine was finally empty. After I took my food up to the room, I brought down my laundry and washed a load in the machine. I went back upstairs, ate my lunch and of course watched an episode of The Closer. I went downstairs, brought up my laundry and hung it up.
I also packed my backpack for tomorrow’s trip. I will probably add a few things to it tomorrow. I think I’ve got the necessities though. I hope.
F called me after 5 to say he was on his way back. I went downstairs and got started on dinner. I had asked F to make rice last night, but he forgot about it. It wasn’t a big deal though. I told him I’d just use our emergency packs.
Tonight I did some broccoli, toaster oven chicken, potato salad, mushroom sauté and regular salad. It was quite a nice dinner I think. We all ate quite a bit.
I did the dishes after dinner while I listened to a couple of podcasts. Not my usual ones, but they were good. When I finished the dishes I started on the garbage because tomorrow is the day for it to go out.
I said good night to everyone downstairs and went upstairs. I relaxed for a bit and drank my root beer. There’s nothing quite like a root beer for me. It was so nice.
When F finally came up, it was time for me to go downstairs and take a shower. On the way down I heard the TV. K was sitting in the living room in the dark watching TV. F talked to her and she went back to bed.
I took my shower and then went back upstairs and decided to watch another episode of The Closer. This was quite a funny one about the detectives trying to get qualifications by wearing Hazmat suits in the detective room.
As normal, I turned off the TV when the episode was over. F went to bed and I’m still up as usual.
I didn’t mention that before dinner I heard K go to the bottom of the stairs and try to call F down. I asked her what the problem was and she showed me that one of F’s fish was lying on the bottom of the tank on its side. It was one of the big angelfish, the black one. I told her I’d tell him and I texted him and he came down. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good news for the fish. It had expired. Sigh. F dealt with it.
Anyway, I’m done. There won’t be an update tomorrow night as I’m going to be away for a night. I’ll most likely be back on Friday night!
