Tuesday - Sunny but coolish

I woke up fairly early today. F had already left for work. I went downstairs and when I came back, F was back too! He’d come back to get his wallet. He’d forgotten it when he left. We said goodbye and off he went back to work. I went back to bed!  

I watched a few videos on my phone and then went back to sleep. I dragged myself out of bed a couple of hours later.

I went downstairs and got breakfast, brought it back upstairs to eat. I had a fairly quiet afternoon today. I did go down for my lunch and while I was there I put a marinade on the meat for dinner. 

Today’s lunchtime show was Elspeth and it was one about tennis with Blair Underwood. I think it’s a cute show and I like it a lot. 

F called after 5 and said he was on his way. I went downstairs a little later and got started on dinner. Tonight I did something called sycoro steak. It’s kind of a chopped and formed steak cut into cubes. I decided to try cooking it in my air fryer and it turned out so well, and was so much easier than doing it in a frypan. I also made cucumber pickles again, plus some broccoli, salad and potato salad. Okay, I didn’t make the potato salad, but I did plate it. I didn’t think I’d have enough food on the table, but it was fine. 

Sadly, F got sick near the end of the meal and had to leave the table. I gave K a chestnut cake from last night and the two of us ate them. We left F’s for him. 

I cleared the table and then I started washing the dishes. It didn’t take too long tonight, the most difficult thing was the air fryer and it wasn’t too bad as I had presoaked it. 

When I finished, I went upstairs and asked F if we could leave soon. He was wrapped up like a burrito in the bed. He said he was okay to go out.

We drove to Mina Shopping Centre and I went into the grocery store and did the shopping. I got chicken for the next couple of nights! I hope everyone likes it. 

Back at the house again, I put the groceries away and then came upstairs. After a bit, I watched FBI: International and then turned off the TV. I watched some YouTube and began doing the overnight things that I do.

Tonight before blogging, I wrote an email to my BFF in Canada. I have had a hard time lately writing emails but I really need to keep in touch with people. 

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I have some laundry I should do, also some repairs and changing elastics on clothing so that would be good to get started. We’ll see.
