Wednesday - Sunny and warm, rainy at night
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I made a quick trip downstairs and then went back to bed and slept for a couple more hours. Oops.
I got up, dressed and went downstairs for my breakfast. I brought it back upstairs and a few minutes I heard the front door open and footsteps on the stairs. It was F. He popped in between assignments. He had a long rest time and even took a nap!
I was fairly quiet when he was there, I watched the news and then turned off the TV.
After F left, I went downstairs and got my lunch. I saw K and gave her lunch. I offered to warm it up for her, but she said no. Oh well then.
I went upstairs and watched an episode of Bones while I ate. I missed the first season of Bones I think, so it is kind of fun to watch these episodes.
F called me tonight around 5:30 and said that he’s got a work party tomorrow night. He wasn’t sure if he should go but I told him that he should if he wants to go.
I went downstairs and got a start on dinner. Tonight I was quite busy. I roasted some potatoes, baked some chicken, and also plated some potato salad, and cooked some veggies. Dinner was pretty darn good! I enjoyed it a lot, and I think everyone else did too.
I did the dishes and dried them. When I finished with them tonight, I went upstairs and changed. F and I had to go out tonight because he won’t be able to go out tomorrow if he drinks at the party.
We went off to the Mina Grocery Store and I bought breakfasts for F and K for Friday. F bought ingredients to make a nabe on Friday night. I asked him if he’d like to make nabe again since we’re getting into the season for it. He said he would so yay!
We came back to the house and I skipped my shower tonight. I decided that I’d shower tomorrow night instead. Around 10:40 I went downstairs and toasted some tortilla chips for myself and brought up some of the guacamole from the fridge. It’s nearly expiring so I want to use it up. The kind I bought last time doesn’t have tomatoes in it which is a good thing for me!
I watched Wild Cards and it was quite good. It was the last episode of the first season, hopefully there will be a next season too. Grey’s Anatomy will be back next week. Oh yay.
That’s about it for me for tonight. I should do some laundry tomorrow and I might work on my mending…maybe. I’m hoping to go out on Friday afternoon, so I would like to get some stuff done tomorrow.
I’ll be on K duty tomorrow night and it’ll just be the two of us for dinner. It’s fine. I took 4 days off earlier this month, I can give F an evening off!
