Wednesday - Colder with some snow

I went to bed a little early last night and had a good sleep. I used my earplugs again and although I heard F this morning, I managed to roll over and fall asleep again. I went downstairs a little after 7 and then snoozed again for a while. I had noticed that it had snowed a few centimetres outside so I thought I’d probably have to shovel snow. 

I got up earlier than usual, dressed to go outside and then went out. I did a little bit of shovelling. The snow was heavy and wet. I’m glad the plumber came yesterday as it would have been a pain for him. I didn’t have to do a lot of shovelling, to be honest, but I cleared the walkway to the house and a bit around the car’s space. 

I came back into the house and grabbed my breakfast. I brought it upstairs and ate. It was really cold in my room when I first went upstairs. It was around 8 degrees. Brrr! It soon warmed up though.

I had a fairly quiet morning into afternoon. A bit after 1 I remembered that I should be doing laundry, so I took a load of towels down and put it in the washing machine. 

I went downstairs around 2:30 to get my lunch. I toasted the bread and made my sandwiches. I went back upstairs and I took my clean but wet laundry with me. I hung it up in my room and then I ate lunch!  I watched an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer while I ate. It was one where she took on the Master in the first season. Very silly, but okay.

After a while, F called to say that he was on his way. I went downstairs and started on dinner. Tonight I made roasted veggies with sausages. I served that with salad and potato salad. Dinner was very nice. There were some leftovers, but that’s okay. All the more for my lunch!

After dinner, I washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen a little. I did the garbage up too and put it in the genkan for F to take out later.

I went upstairs with a can of root beer to relax. I found an email from my bestie and sent her an answer almost right away. Yay. 

I took a shower and then came back upstairs and watched Grey’s Anatomy. F went to bed around midnight and he seems to be sleeping now. 

And that’s about it. I’ve been blogging and watching YouTube for a while and it is about time to go to bed.
