Wednesday - Warmer and clear, windy

I woke up this morning when F was getting ready for work. I pulled the covers over my head and went back to sleep. I next woke up just a bit before my alarm went off. I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and went back to bed. I did grab all my clothes and put them next to the bed so I could dress quickly.

I woke up a bit later, got up, dressed, and went downstairs. I made my breakfast and brought it up to the room to eat. After breakfast and the news, I took a short nap! It was short, I set a timer and got up when it rang.

I did have a very quiet afternoon. I watched some YouTube and then went downstairs to get my lunch. I came back to the room with it and I watched another episode of The Walking Dead. It wasn’t a bad one since none of the major characters died. This was mostly about Daryl and Carol. There is one more left to watch before they start broadcasting the last season next month. 

I watched the news and waited for F to call. He didn’t call until quite late. He said he was in Tsuruoka when he called. I went downstairs in a hurry!

I did my dishes and then F arrived. We had a nice reunion and I asked him if I could use his mushrooms from the nabe to make a side dish for tonight. He said yes. I chopped them up and got them ready to fry. 

Tonight’s dinner was fried chicken from the store, French fries, salad, chopped mushrooms and some steamed broccoli. It was good and got quite good reviews. 

After dinner, I did the dishes and then did up the garbage to go out. After I did that, I prepared the meat for tomorrow by making up a garlic/salt and pepper marinade. 

I went upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I had a cup of tea and then I went downstairs and took a shower. I nearly forgot to turn up the water heater…that would have been a very cold shower. 

I came back upstairs when I was done and then I decided to watch an episode of Shrinking on Apple TV. It was good. I really like that show. Harrison Ford is very funny, surprisingly so!

And that, basically was my day. It was quiet but nice to be honest. Tomorrow, if I can drag myself out of bed early enough, I’m planning to go downtown and see Love Actually. The local cinema is showing the digitally remastered version of it and I’d like to go if I can. We’ll see!
