Friday - Sunny and warm

I’ve been having trouble sleeping in the mornings lately and today was no exception. F left for work and didn’t turn off his alarm clock. The only good thing is that I knew why I woke up this morning!

I went downstairs and then came back upstairs. I watched a few videos and then I slept quite late this morning. I didn’t mind. I got up and dressed, then went downstairs.

I made some porridge for my breakfast again and then brought it upstairs to eat. It was very nice. 

I had a fairly quiet afternoon. I did a row of crochet on my sweater, I watched some YouTube and I did a load of laundry. Yay me!

I went downstairs around 3:00 to make my lunch. I was late! I had a bagel and made a couple of open sandwiches with it. I came upstairs to eat and then watched an episode of Major Crimes. I wanted something fun and familiar.

F phoned after 5:30 and said he was on his way. He stopped at a grocery store to pick up things for tomorrow’s breakfast for K. 

Tonight our dinner was pasta with a Japanese style sauce plus salad and a bacon-mushroom-spinach sauté. I think it was good, but I’m not sure if K or F liked it as much as I did. Oh well.

I did the dishes after dinner and listened to the news, and then Kermode and Mayo. When I finished, I talked to F and he wasn’t feeling well. We had planned to go and look at the cherry blossoms tonight, but he didn’t want to go anywhere. Sigh. 

I went upstairs and watched some videos, then took a shower after F came upstairs. I came back to the room and although I planned to watch Severance, I ended up watching the first episode of The Studio. I thought it was quite funny. I’m not sure if I’ll keep watching, but I might! I did another row of my sweater tonight too. It’s getting bigger and hopefully I’m nearly done this half. 

F fell asleep fairly early on so I turned off his overhead light and he woke up! He did go back to sleep soon afterwards. 

I’m really not sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow. I’m hoping that we’ll go to a movie tomorrow night and that we go to S-Mall in the afternoon. A store is closing there and I’d like to pick up another parasol if they are on sale. I think a lot depends on how F is feeling. I really don’t want to stay around the house. I’m hoping to get out for a bit. I’d like to see the cherry blossoms too if possible. 

Anyway, that’s it for me for tonight. It was a fairly quiet day. Come back later if you like and find out about my Saturday. Until tomorrow….
