Friday - Hot and sunny

I got up when my alarm went off this morning, I went downstairs and then came back upstairs. I went back to bed for a snooze. It was already hot in the room and it was still morning. Ack.

I got up later and dressed. I went downstairs and made my breakfast and then came upstairs to eat. I opened the windows up here…it was so hot. I know it got up to 27℃ in the room. It might have been higher, I just didn’t check it. No wonder they were warning about possible heatstroke on the news the other night. 

I did a load of laundry in the afternoon and when it was nearly ready, I went downstairs with my bread to make my lunch. I brought the laundry and my lunch up at the same time. I hung up the laundry and then ate lunch. I watched an episode of The Bondsman while I did that. I have one episode left I think.

F called when he was finished work and said he wasn’t going to go to the doctor after all. Sigh. He didn’t really have time. He went to the store to get food for his mother’s breakfast tomorrow.

I went downstairs and investigated the kitchen. There were a few things in the drainer, most of which I had to rewash! I got a little ready to make dinner, but F had called to say he was in a traffic jam. I wasn’t sure what was going on. 

Tonight for dinner we basically had our usual pasta with a garlic sauce. F contributed some warabi and I also did a cucumber pickle. When we finally sat down to eat, dinner was good, if a little late. 

I got to do all of the dishes again. I was overjoyed as usual! I did listen to my podcasts afterwards so that was good. 

I came upstairs when I finally finished. Tonight I decided I’d take a late shower and watched Rebus on WOWOW. It was gritty. I’ve read a few of the Rebus stories and I liked them, so I was looking forward to this show. First episode was good!

I helped F with sending something to me on his computer. It’s funny, he just has no idea how to do some things that I’ve taught myself to do over the years. Tonight I had to show him how to save a document and then send it over to my email. It was fun, and a little difficult since I was doing it on a Japanese language computer.

My night has been quiet. I took my shower after 11:30 which is a bit late for me, but no problem. I’m not sure what we’re going to get up to tomorrow. K has her Day Care to go to and F and I have to get ready for my sister’s visit.

I’ll be here for a couple more days, but I will be taking the days that my sister is here off blogging. I haven’t taken much time off this year and my sister and her husband are very private people so I’d rather not blog about them. Also, I’ll be getting up early to meet up with them, so I need to be getting to bed at a reasonable time.
