Tuesday - Hot and sunny, rainy at night
I woke up a bit late again, got up and went downstairs. I went back to bed for a bit, watched some videos and then snoozed. I got up, dressed and went downstairs to get my breakfast. What I also did was marinate the meat for dinner and make up an onion for an onion boil. Yay me.
I went upstairs with my breakfast and ate. I had a quiet couple of hours and just enjoyed myself. I watched a lot of YouTube! A bit later, I brought my lunch upstairs and ate while watching an episode of Magpie Murders. It was the last episode of the series and we found out whodunnit. That was cool.
F texted to say that he might take tomorrow off work. He’s still not feeling well. He said he felt okay this morning, but by the afternoon he felt bad again. Sigh. I think if he’s sick he shouldn’t be at work anyway.
He came back to the house around the same time that I went downstairs. I got stuck into washing my day’s dishes and then I started to cook dinner. I did coro-coro steak with an onion boil, Asian cucumber salad that I made, some bought kabocha salad and a salad. I had forgotten to ask F to make rice again, so I had to do the prepackaged stuff for dinner. No worries.
Dinner got decent reviews and most of it disappeared. I did the dishes and then listened to some podcasts while I did that.
F and I had to go to the store after dinner. I went in alone and did the shopping. I had asked K if she wanted something and she asked for orange juice. I bought her a carton, I hope she likes it! I don’t drink orange juice.
When we came back to the house I put away the groceries while tripping over F. He was making rice for tomorrow. I’m glad that he did that, but wished he could wait a few minutes for me to finish in the kitchen.
I went upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I watched FBI: International at 11pm and it was okay. It took place in London at a school. It was a bit….I think this is rapidly becoming my least favourite of the FBI shows.
And that’s about it for the day. It was so hot this afternoon that I had to turn on the AC. It made it up to 30 degrees. Usually my limit is 28 so I was a tad surprised! I can’t believe it is this hot this early. And this super hot at that.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. It depends a lot on whether F is here or not. He’s currently awake and sitting up in bed at the moment, but I’m going to go to bed soon!
