Monday - Hot and sunny. Too hot!
I didn’t hear F get up this morning. I slept through my first alarm and ended up getting up about half an hour than usual! I went downstairs and then came back to the room. When I got back to the room I sorted my laundry, then went back to bed for a bit. I watched a couple of videos and then snoozed on.
When I got up later, I dressed and then went downstairs with my laundry and put it in the machine. I then went and prepared my breakfast and took it upstairs to eat.
A little later, I brought up my clean laundry and hung it up. Yay me. I had a relaxing morning and afternoon. I backed up my computer. I went downstairs around 2:45 to make my lunch. I brought it back upstairs and ate, and I watched an episode of The Good Fight. It was a humdinger and one of the lead characters got fired. I think something’s going to happen with that.
After 4 pm, when the news was on, I updated my computer. I updated it to the newest OS. It took a while, but not as long as I thought it might. It’s all bright and shiny now!
I didn’t hear from F at his usual time, but I knew that he had a driving assignment in another city so he might not be able to come back on time. I went downstairs and got stuck into dinner making. Of course, being Monday, I had to clean up the kitchen a bit. It’s so annoying that someone couldn’t do it himself yesterday. I know he was sick so I’m trying not to get too annoyed!
Tonight I made dinner and it was quite good. I decided to do bibinba rice with toaster oven chicken, cucumber pickle and some baby leaf salad. Dinner was nice. But I’m ahead of myself. F phoned just before 7 to say that he was on his way back to the house. I told him that I’d cooked so I was going to feed K and that he could eat when he got back. He was okay with that.
K and I started and enjoyed our meal. She even asked for more rice, so that was quite good. F showed up around 7:30 so I got him a plate and a glass and we continued with our meal. He didn’t eat too much, but I think he was tired.
After dinner, I washed the dishes and left the kitchen in a better state than I found it. I listened to my podcasts and enjoyed them too.
I went upstairs after I finished and relaxed for a bit. I went downstairs after 10:30 and took a shower. I saw K a couple of times…I’m a tad worried about her.
I came back upstairs and watched another episode of Gotham. It was rather good today. I’m enjoying the series. It’s picked up from the beginning.
And that’s about it for my day. I’m not sure what I’m going to get up to tomorrow. I might do more laundry and as always, there’s dinner tomorrow night. Sigh.
