Wednesday - Sunny in the AM, rainy later on

I woke up this morning a bit later than usual as I hadn’t set my alarm for an early time. F didn’t get up for a bit either so we both had a relaxing morning. Finally, he went downstairs and made something for his mother’s breakfast.

I got up and got dressed. I waited for F to say what he wanted to do and when he came back upstairs he suggested lunch, but as usual wouldn’t suggest a place to eat. I suggested going to the Daiichi Hotel for their lunch special. F was okay with that.

We drove to S-Mall and went in. However, the restaurant had finished their special for the day. Sigh. F wanted to go to Nagomi for their lunch but I had also suggested trying the new Indonesian place in Foodever. We went there, F parked in the parkade and we went downstairs. Today they were open. Yay! We looked at the menu. F had a noodle dish (surprise there!) and I had nasi goreng. I asked them not to make it spicy. I had the chicken version and it was really very nice. I would have liked a bit more chicken, but I did enjoy it anyway.

After our lunch, I asked F if he was ready to go to his doctor. He’d left his medicine book at the house, so we zoomed back to the house to pick it up. Then, F dropped me off at Machi-ne Kinema.

I went into the building, bought a drink and then exchanged my coupon for a free movie ticket! Today I went to see Sing Sing at the cinema. I enjoyed it a lot. It wasn’t my favourite film ever, but it was quite good. I’ve always been a drama nerd, so this was up my alley!

After the movie, I went to the door of the building and a couple of minutes later F showed up. We decided to go for coffee, so we went to F’s favourite place, Komeda. I got my iced decaf, but it wasn’t really big enough to satisfy me. We spent quite a bit of time there and then talked about dinner.

We decided that we’d get bentos from the grocery store. I had to do grocery shopping anyway, so why not? We went to MaxValu since we were there anyway. I picked up a few things for the next couple of days of dinners. F picked up something for his breakfast for tomorrow. It was a palaver! The clerk was marking down the onigiri and F kept putting the ones he’d picked up back so that they’d be discounted. Eye roll!

We came back to the house and it was so hot inside. I closed up the living room and then put on the air conditioner. F disappeared into the washroom and let me do all the bento heating and table setting. It was annoying! 

I got everything ready, F got K up and then we ate. F and K had salmon bentos and I had a chicken one. Mine was okay, I think they liked theirs. 

I washed the dishes afterwards and then did up the garbage. I was just about to ask F to help me with K’s garbage again when he went to the washroom again! I decided not today and closed up the bag.

I headed upstairs and turned on the AC in the upstairs room. I did up my garbage and left the bag for F. I relaxed for a while and a bit after 10 pm I went downstairs for my shower.

I came back to the room and watched Grey’s Anatomy. I probably say this every year, but I’m not sure why I watch the show anymore. I hope it gets better soon!

And that’s about it for my day. I don’t have much planned for tomorrow so come back and we’ll figure out what I got up to!
