Thursday - Hot and sunny, muggy

I had an odd morning. I woke up with my alarm, I went downstairs and then came back to the room. For a change, I gave myself a bit of a pedicure as my poor feet are so dry, they needed attention. Then, I went back to bed for a while and watched a few videos on my phone. While I was watching, I heard K call my name. I hurriedly got dressed and ran downstairs, but K was nowhere to be seen. However, there was a delivery notice in the door. I’m thinking maybe K saw the delivery and tried to get me down in time, but went back to bed? Or, I dreamt that I heard her! I’ve done that before….

I finally went back to bed and of course slept quite late. I sort of did that on purpose. I didn’t do any laundry today, but I did pack something up that I needed to send today. That was a good thing. 

I had a quiet afternoon. I brought my lunch upstairs and ate while I watched an episode of Major Crimes. I know it’s an oldie, but I love it!

I had a quiet afternoon and then went downstairs to get started on dinner. I had a busy night in the kitchen, although I did a little less from scratch than I did last night! We had toaster oven chicken, salad, potato salad, cucumber pickle, and a mushroom/onion mixture I sauteed. That one turned out rather well. Dinner was quite good and a lot of it disappeared. There’s enough chicken to add to my lunch as well.

After dinner I did the dishes. There weren’t too many this time so I was happy. When I was done, I went upstairs and changed to go out. 

F and I headed off to the grocery store and I went in and got a few groceries. I came back to the car and F drove us to a convenience store. We sent off the box and then bought a few things for us. 

We came back to the house and I put the food away and then came upstairs. I watched Yellowstone at 11 pm. It was a decent episode. It was all about a cattle drive for branding calves. 

I turned off the TV after the show finished and got stuck into my computer stuff. 

I’m not sure what I’m going to get up to tomorrow. I could go out early to see a movie at Machi-ne Kinema, or I can stay here and do laundry! Oh, how exciting!
