Wednesday - Hot and sunny and humid

The news tonight said that it hit 38℃ at a place in Hokkaido today. That’s insane. Hokkaido is usually cooler than down here. 

I had my usual morning. I did wake up early though, about half an hour before my alarm. I went downstairs and then came back to the room. I went back to bed after a while. It was so hot up here when I woke up that I had to turn on the AC. I snoozed for a bit, but dragged myself out of bed finally.

I dressed, went downstairs for my breakfast and then came upstairs to eat. I had a quiet afternoon. I had originally thought about going to see a movie this afternoon, but I didn’t get myself sorted. Then, F decided to take tomorrow off work so I’m sort of glad that I didn’t go. I’m thinking that we might go and see it tomorrow if we get F’s stuff done.

Or, I’ll go and see if F will drop me off at the cinema! We’ll see what happens.

I made my lunch around 3 pm and ate while watching Saturday’s episode of FBI. It was okay. It was about hate crimes and how people were being bamboozled by people on the internet to believe that crimes were happening underneath buildings. 

I also got an email from my sister today telling me that my nephew finally made it home. He was late arriving and his suitcase took another hour to get off the plane, but my sister and BIL picked him up and drove him back to their city. Nephew fell asleep on the way, but it is a long drive back. 

A little after 5, F called to say that he was finished work so I went downstairs to get started on dinner. F made it back to the house just before I came downstairs. He turned on the AC for me. Yay! It was over 30 degrees in the kitchen today. 

Tonight’s dinner was pretty good. I did ginger pork, tofu, salad, cucumber pickle, and steamed vegetables. They were very nice ones. I think dinner was good.

I cleared the table afterwards and then washed the dishes. I listened to my movie podcast while I was busy and enjoyed that. When finished, I did up the kitchen garbage. F helped me with his mother’s stuff. Head shake. She is a bit odd. I got the bag full and left it in the genkan for F to take out later.

I went upstairs and then did up my garbage in the room. I left my bag for F to put his stuff into it. I relaxed in front of my computer. At 11pm I watched Grey’s Anatomy and enjoyed that. I seem to enjoy the episodes where Meredith isn’t around more than the ones where she is! Am I terrible?

F went to bed fairly early tonight. The heat today has been really bad. I’m sure he’s a bit tired. Tomorrow he’s going to be in charge of making K’s breakfast and/or lunch and hopefully we’ll go and see the movie. Fingers crossed.
