Thursday - Humid, rainy and a little cooler

I woke up before my alarm again this morning. I went downstairs and then came back to the room and gave myself a pedicure. It was sorely needed!

I snoozed for a while and then dragged myself out of bed a while later. I went downstairs and made my breakfast. I also put the meat for dinner in a marinade for later in the evening.  After that, I came up to the room to eat. 

I checked that there wasn’t a movie I wanted to watch this afternoon on TV and then I watched a bunch of YouTube. 

I went downstairs to make my lunch around 3 and brought it back up to the room. I ate while watching another episode of Gotham. 

After the news and even more YouTube F called me and I went downstairs to get ready for dinner. While I was prepping, F got two deliveries! One I knew about as I had arranged for it to be redelivered, the other was a surprise. I was busy in the kitchen tonight. I made a cucumber salad with tuna and spicy mayo, roasted some okra and roasted some coro-coro steak. F went outside and picked some tomatoes from his plants, so they had them with some from the store too. I roasted a few in with the okra and F said they were very nice that way.

I got a bit overwhelmed at times with dinner prep tonight. I kept trying to hurry myself along even though I was doing okay. I actually had to remind myself to breathe a couple of times. As usual with my dinner prep, the last 15-20 minutes are the stressful ones. 

Dinner was okay when it happened. Most of the food disappeared and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I did the dishes afterwards which also seemed to take a while. 

When I finished I went upstairs to get ready to go out. F was lying on the bed relaxing and honestly, it kind of annoyed me. He knew we had to go out and I asked if he was ready to go and he said yes. He didn’t move. I changed my clothes and honestly, I was downstairs and at the door before F was!

We went to Mina and I got to do the shopping by myself. Yay. I think I got enough stuff and I was more organized by myself. I came back out to the car and we came back to the house.

I put away the groceries and then went upstairs. F went upstairs just before me too. I relaxed and YouTubed for a while and then watched the first episode of the new season of The Rookie. It was good. 

I spent some time on YouTube and doing my internet things. I think I’m about done now, so it is time to end this and get myself off to bed! Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
