Monday - Warm and sunny
I woke up after F left this morning, but before my alarm. I made my trip downstairs and then came back to the room and went back to bed. I didn’t watch too many videos today before I fell asleep again.
When I dragged myself out of bed later I dressed myself and started the first of two loads of laundry. I made my breakfast and brought it upstairs to eat. I had some decaf coffee today and enjoyed that. I hung up my clean laundry in the room to dry.
I got my lunch around 3pm and brought it upstairs to eat. I also watched an episode of Elspeth. I feel like it has been ages since I watched any of it. Today’s episode had Vanessa Williams in it and was cool.
I half-watched the news when my show was over and then F called me just after 5:15. I went downstairs a bit later to get started on dinner. I didn’t work too hard on dinner tonight, but it was okay. I did toaster oven chicken, BUT I cooked it in my air fryer. I liked it a bit that way but F said that it was too lemony. I used a Lemon Pepper powder on it. I cleared some harumaki (like tiny eggrolls) out of the freezer…they expired 3 days ago…and we had a salad, plus some onion soup. F complained about the soup too. The onions were too cooked for him! I reminded him it was a packet soup and he said he knew that, but….
I did the dishes and was done quite early for a change. I went upstairs and relaxed for a while. I went downstairs afterwards and took a shower. When I came back to the room I watched an episode of Gen V. It was odd, as all of the shows in this genre are!
And that’s about it for my day. F went to bed and fell asleep fairly early. He didn’t sleep well last night at all. I keep telling him to put his computer down but he won’t. Then, he wonders why he doesn’t sleep! I usually sleep with an eye mask on, but I can tell that his computer is open even with it on!
Tomorrow is a national holiday and I have no idea what we will get up to. F was talking about making yakisoba for breakfast or brunch…not sure if I would even want to eat that!
