Friday - Sunny but cool

I woke up this morning when F’s alarm clock rang at 7 am. Where was F? Downstairs. I had to go downstairs, but I heard him coming up the stairs. I congratulated him that his alarm clock still worked and he did have the grace to look sheepish!

I came back to the room and just sat on the bed while F finished getting ready for work. He even kissed me goodbye so that was nice! After F left, I went back to bed and snoozed for a while. I got up around 10 and went downstairs, then came back to the room and went back to bed for a bit. I watched some videos and then I ended up falling asleep again and slept a little late. 

I got up, dressed myself again, and went downstairs and made some porridge for myself. I finished up the bag of rolled oats so I won’t have any until I get more. I brought my breakfast upstairs to eat. 

I had a fairly relaxed afternoon today. I didn’t get too much accomplished. I went downstairs to make my lunch later on. I had a second bowl of my stew and it was delish! I brought my lunch upstairs and again watched NCIS: Los Angeles. It was good I think. 

F called around 5:30 tonight and then I went downstairs and started on dinner. Tonight I did spaghetti with Alfredo sauce, salad and bacon. I don’t think the pasta sauce was that popular as no one else had seconds. I liked it. 

I did the dishes and listened to my podcasts. First up, Canadian news and then my movie podcast from Britain. It’s great and the broadcasters are excellent. I finally finished and tonight just went upstairs. I didn’t bother to say goodnight to either K nor F. 

I relaxed with some YouTube and a cup of cocoa.When I finished that I decided to go down and take my shower. However, F came back upstairs just as I was leaving! I said I was just on my way downstairs and went.

I had a good shower and then came back upstairs. I had decided that I’d watch a video off the DVR tonight so I chose Daredevil, the Director’s cut. I’d seen the original when it came out. It was quite good. I thought that Daredevil was very close to Batman, at least in the movie and since Ben Affleck played both, it wasn’t a stretch really. It was also nice to see Colin Farrell chewing the scenery as Bullseye. 

And after the movie, I turned to some music and then some YouTube. I’m off to bed soon and then I have no idea what will happen on Saturday.
