Tuesday - Sunny but cool
I got up after my alarm went off this morning. I went downstairs and then came back to the room. I sorted some laundry and then went back to bed! I watched videos and snoozed for a couple of hours.
I dragged myself out of bed later, dressed and then went downstairs to start laundry and make my breakfast. I ended up doing two loads of laundry today, they are hung up in our room upstairs.
I had a quiet afternoon between loads of laundry! I went downstairs later to get my lunch. While I was in the kitchen, I put the meat for dinner in a marinade. I went upstairs with my lunch and ate it. I watched yet another episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. It was good I thought.
F phoned a bit after 5:15 and said he was coming back to the house. I went downstairs a bit later and got started on dinner. I did a quick internet search and found a recipe for onions and mushrooms in a foil packet, so I made that. It was cool as I had all the ingredients, more or less. When I finished preparing the ingredients, I set it up in my air fryer and worked on something else.
Tonight for dinner we had baby leaf lettuce, coro-coro steak, mushroom and onion butter-foil grilled, steamed vegetables and rice. Dinner actually got good reviews and almost everything was eaten. Oh, I forgot, I got some mini-tomatoes, yellow ones, for K and F. I’m so nice! The mushroom and onion thing disappeared as well.
I did the dishes afterwards and listened to Kermode and Mayo’s Take. I enjoyed it a lot. I haven’t quite finished it yet. While I did dishes, I also drank one of my A&W Root Beers. Yum. It was nice.
I went upstairs when I finished and relaxed in front of my computer. A little after 10, F was upstairs in the room and I went downstairs to take a shower. I had a nice one and then came back up to the room. I watched tonight’s episode of FBI: Most Wanted. It was an odd one, about murderers who posted their “work” on the internet. Shudder. Not good guys.
F thinks he’s getting a cold so he’s off to bed and sleep a bit early. I’m glad for that. He’s been staying up late lately. I stay up later, but I do it to get some peace and quiet. When F is up late too, I don’t feel like I can concentrate.
I’ve been doing my late night internet stuff and watching a bit of YouTube. I’ll head off to bed in a few minutes.
