Tuesday - Rainy I think. I didn’t go out.
I slept in this morning, it was nice. I got up and went downstairs. F had just come back from getting his hair cut and I didn’t notice. Oh dear. He was all about making lunch for his mother and went to the grocery store to buy ingredients. I asked him to get a few things for me and dinner tonight. He didn’t ask me to go which did surprise me.
He came back to the house and hadn’t brought one of the things I asked for. He said he’d go out later and get it (he did). He didn’t ask me if I’d like to go out with him then either.
He made his mother lunch and must have eaten some too. I wouldn’t have wanted to eat whatever he made anyway.
I made my lunch around 3 o’clock and today I used real cheese on my toasties. Yum. I came upstairs with lunch and watched an episode of Bones. It was an early one and it was a Christmas episode so that was kind of cool.
I went downstairs to the kitchen around 5:45 or so and heated up the curry. I washed my dishes from the day and got the rest of the dinner ready. Today we had the rest of the curry, plus tonkatsu that F bought at the store and a salad. It was all very nice. The curry was good and we finished it all. Sigh.
After dinner I did the dishes and put them away. I went upstairs when I finished and then relaxed with some YouTube. After 11 I decided that I’d go downstairs and make some popcorn. I made the popcorn and then came upstairs and watched Episode 6 of Lazarus. It was really good and ended on a scary note. There were some horrible things that happened in the episode too. I’m wondering if it is a one season and done or if there’ll be a second season.
I turned off the TV and watched some YouTube while I did my end of day things. I’m about ready to go to bed and start the last day of the year.
Oh, a note. I think I’m going to take tomorrow night off, unless something really worthy of blogging happens, so I’ll wish you all a very Happy New Year and I hope that you have a lovely start to 2026!
