 Monday - Snowy and cold

I woke up a bit early this morning and made my way downstairs. F had already left for work. I checked outside and it was snowing and there was quite a bit outside. I checked the weather forecast and it said that it would stop snowing later. 

I headed back to bed and watched a few videos on my phone before falling asleep again. I dragged myself out of bed later and I dressed. I got my breakfast yogurt and brought it upstairs to eat. I keep the cereal in my room now as it isn’t safe from my MIL. 

I ate my breakfast and then after a little break I went downstairs and went outside. I shovelled a bit of snow for about 30 minutes. I thought I got the parking space looking good and also most of the pathways in the yard. 

I went into the house and upstairs to warm up. I relaxed with some YouTube before going downstairs to make my lunch. I had to turn on the heater downstairs in the kitchen. 

I brought my lunch upstairs and ate while I watched an episode of The Good Fight. Today was all about the Epstein case. It was rather funny in a way. 

F called me after 5:20 or so and said that he was on his way back. I went downstairs to start on dinner. 

Tonight I did toaster oven chicken with a teriyaki flavour, steamed cabbage, salad and a couple of basil flavoured onion cake. Those have been sitting in my freezer for a bit too long. They were good though. 

I was late starting dinner as the onion cakes needed to be “cooked” in the toaster oven. I told F to go ahead and start eating, but when I went back out to the table, neither of them had started! I was a bit sad, but it was nice of them, even though all the food was now cold. 

I did the dishes after dinner and listened to my podcasts. I finished around 9pm and then went upstairs to relax. F came up a bit later and we both relaxed. After 10 pm I went downstairs to take my shower and also I gave F the kerosene tank to fill up. He did his mother’s too so he was busy!

I had a fairly cold shower. For some reason the water wasn’t too warm tonight. I didn’t want to stay in the shower very long! I finished and came back upstairs. As I thought, F hadn’t turned the heater back on after he refilled the tank. I had a chuckle at that!

I decided to watch an episode of Gen V and it was quite good. It was one that moved the story along a bit. I’m hoping that this show will go somewhere!

And really, that’s about it. I’ve been working on my end of day stuff and when I post this, I’ll be finished and off to bed. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….

PS…if you use Angelfire to access this blog, I have been unable to update my posts there for close to a month. It really seems to be down. I’ve read a few complaints and people are angry about it…me too, but I don’t pay for it so….
