 Tuesday - Warmer and sunny!

I woke up a little late this morning. I heard my alarm, I just ignored it! I went downstairs and then came back to the room. I had planned to do laundry today, but when I sorted it, realized that I didn’t have too much yet. I might wait a day or two. 

I went back to bed and didn’t really hear my alarms. It was warmer today too, and sunny in the room, so when I did drag myself out of bed, it wasn’t as punishing as usual! I went downstairs to get my breakfast but first went outside in my Crocs to shovel a bit of ice off the walkway. I didn’t even wear a coat. I was done in less than 5 minutes but it was nice to see the sun, even though it was raining!

I prepared my breakfast and then took it upstairs to eat. I checked the movie of the day but I didn’t need to watch it. I had a quiet day with some YouTube. Around 3 I went downstairs to get lunch.

I was able to turn on the heater downstairs but set it to come on in an hour rather than right away. I made my lunch and then brought it upstairs. I watched an episode of So Help Me Todd and thought it was cute.

F called around 5:30 and I went downstairs almost right away. I was making a cream stew tonight so needed extra time to get it ready. I washed the dishes and F came just a few minutes later.

I worked on the stew. Unfortunately, it still took a while, but I did get dinner on the table around 7:30. The stew turned out quite well and we all had seconds, even K! We got the roux packet at Gyomu a few days ago and I promised to make it for F. We had a side salad and rice with the stew. There are leftovers so I’m thinking I’ll make a kind of casserole with them tomorrow. 

After dinner, I cleared the table and washed the dishes. When I was finished I went upstairs and changed and then F and I headed out to the car.

We drove over to the Mina Shopping Area and went grocery shopping. We got some things for the next couple of days and then paid. F bought a bag of rice tonight so the bill was a bit much. 

We came back to the house and I put the groceries away. We came upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I watched FBI: Most Wanted. Ironically, it was about people pretending to be ICE agents kidnapping immigrants to be used as organ donors. It was an interesting story and I winced a lot.

Since midnight I’ve been watching YouTube and relaxing. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, so please come back later and find out! Until tomorrow….
