Thursday - Sunny and warm
I woke up at my usual time and did my usual things! I went back to bed and snoozed plus watched some videos. I dragged myself out of bed later and then dressed. I went downstairs and spent a bit of time in the kitchen. I marinated the meat for dinner and I prepared an onion boil for later.
I took my yogurt upstairs and then had breakfast at my desk. I had a quiet afternoon really, but I did finish up my column and even sent it in to the editor. That’s actually a few days early, so yay me.
Over my lunchtime I watched another episode of The Good Fight. Eli Gold was in it so it was lovely to see Alan Cumming back on the show. I watched the news when it finished and then a bit after 5, F called to say he was on his way back to the house.
I went downstairs a little before 6 pm and got started in the kitchen. I welcomed F back a few minutes later and we chatted for a bit. He went off upstairs to rest and I got stuck into dinner prep. I started off the onion boil a little early to cook and then plated other dishes and set the table. I cooked the coro-coro steak in the air fryer and then called F down. I tried to get K to wake up but she didn’t. F had to go in her room and wake her when he came downstairs. We had a good dinner and it all disappeared! We had salad, rice, and pickles with the coro-coro steak.
I did the dishes and finished fairly early. I went upstairs and relaxed upstairs. I decided not to take a shower tonight either so I’ll have to have one tomorrow night. I did a lot of loom knitting! Around 10pm I watched an episode of The Handmaid’s Tale and then another episode of Pluribus. I haven’t watched that one in a while and boy, that was an episode! The South American guy arrived and Carol didn’t get on with him. I’m really enjoying this series!
F went to bed fairly early tonight. He was quite tired when he came back to the house. He’s sleeping away now.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. Come on back and find out! Until tomorrow….
