Friday - Sunny but cool

I woke up after F had left for his doctor’s office. I made a trip downstairs and then came back upstairs and went to bed. I slept again and F came upstairs after a while and ended up going to bed. I got up and dressed and waited for him to go for lunch. He slept quite late however and when he finally did wake up, most of the places we wanted to go were closed.

We tried to go to F’s Eel place, but it was closed. However, we went past Arpeggio and they were still open, so we ended up there and had a lovely meal. I had my favourite chicken finger set meal, F had the 10 items tray. 

After our meal, we tried to get some kerosene but F’s usual gas station didn’t have any…and no gas either. Goodness. We got some kerosene at another gas station and brought it back to the house. 

After a few minutes, we headed out again to the Daiso near MaxValu. We both went in, but I did more shopping! I got a box for mailing, some bags for garbage and another eye mask for sleeping. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use the one I got though. It might be too small.

After a bit of confusion where F disappeared for a few minutes, we went to Komeda and had some coffee. I had decaf as usual. We relaxed for a bit and then came back to the house.

I relaxed upstairs as I had to charge up my phone for a bit. I went downstairs after 6:15 or so and then I got busy cooking dinner. I did my usual pasta, salad and a protein and it went well. I fried some bacon and added some mushrooms that F had left in the fridge for a while. Dinner was good and all the food disappeared! There wasn’t any left for my lunch on Monday.

After I did the dishes I went upstairs and didn’t even say goodnight to F or K. I was tired and a little ticked off that no one volunteered to help me again tonight. 

I came upstairs and watched YouTube for a bit until I decided to watch an episode of The Handmaid’s Tale. I have one more episode to watch, so it will be good to get it done.

I took a break downstairs and then decided I’d watch Sinners. It’s been on my DVR for a while but I haven’t had time. It was really good. It never did play at a cinema up here. I liked it, but it did have a lot of violence at the end. 

F went to bed a while ago. He’s got to be up early tomorrow but I don’t. I should get up but will I?
