Monday - Muggy and a bit cooler
I had a decent but quiet day today. I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. F was long gone. I went downstairs, came back to the room and then went back to sleep for a while.
I dragged myself out of bed later, dressed myself and then went downstairs in search of breakfast. I brought it upstairs and ate after a while. I decided to do a load of laundry, so I sorted some out and took it downstairs. So exciting!
I did a few of my usual Monday things and hung up my laundry too. After I brought my lunch upstairs I hung up my clothes to dry, watched an episode of The Handmaid’s Tale and then ate my lunch at my desk.
F called me around 5:30 and I went downstairs a bit later. I got started on dinner but for some reason I took a long time doing it and we didn’t end up eating until 7:30. Dinner was good, but it was strange that it took so long. I’m not even sure why! We had a pork stir-fry with seaweed and scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions, salad and rice. Dinner was quite good I thought, but there were a lot of leftovers. Sigh.
I did the dishes and then I went upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I went downstairs a bit later and took a shower.
In the evening I watched another episode of Evil and then got stuck into my night-time computer things. I’m done now, or almost anyway.
Tomorrow I might do more laundry and then there’s dinner to cook and more groceries to buy. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
