Friday - Sunny but Cooler. Gorgeous day!
I woke up somewhere around 9:30 because F was demanding paper from me. I went downstairs. I came back up to the room and gave him some scrap paper which he still hasn’t returned. He had to call City Hall and then found out later that he really didn’t need to after all!
I wasn’t going to get any rest after a while so I got up and dressed myself. F wanted to leave right away and of course changed his preferred lunch place from yesterday’s.
We drove over to the restaurant, but all the parking spaces were taken so we couldn’t go there. We went back to F’s original choice, the fish restaurant we like. We had their weekly lunch each, it was sashimi and deep fried oysters set meal. It came with rice, miso soup and some veggies and pickles. It was quite nice to be honest.
After lunch, we went for coffee to Doutor. F gave me some money to charge up my app and then I got us two coffees. He got regular, I had a decaf iced latte that was lovely.
When we finished our drink, we went to Gyomu Supa and I picked up a bunch of things that we needed or wanted. We got potato salad, kimchi, bagels, tortillas, frozen veggies, cereal, mini-cheeses, just a bunch of stuff. F picked up some noodles because of course he did.
After we finished there, we came back to the house and I put the groceries away. F had suggested ice cream for dinner’s dessert and also this afternoon…I insisted we get his mother some too. It was nice.
I went upstairs and chilled. I even watched the news at 4 pm. F wanted to know what we were going to do about dinner so I told him I was cooking.
I went downstairs around 6pm and tidied up the kitchen. I put together dinner tonight. We had lemon pasta, salad and lemon and herb sausages with milk tea ice cream for dessert. Dinner was good, but as usual, F didn’t eat much.
I had asked F to help me with dinner tonight either before or after and he didn’t. That was rather annoying since he didn’t work today so there was no reason he couldn’t. Also, while I was doing dishes K apparently wanted more strawberries so F tried to use the kitchen sink to do that in. Umm. No. I was doing the dishes. I honestly don’t know why she can’t wait a minute. Also, no one even asked me if I’d like a strawberry. I usually don’t eat them as I have a slight allergy to them, but they could have offered me some. Or one.
After I finished in the kitchen I went upstairs. I just left the kitchen and turned off the lights. I was royally annoyed!
I watched some YouTube and filled out a form for the doctor tomorrow. Google Translate is a help. When F came upstairs I asked him to help me with the rest of the form and things were fine.
I took a shower around 10:30, just a quick one as I had one yesterday. I came back up to the room and watched The Boys. That show…..I think I have two more episodes to go.
So, tomorrow K is off to her Day Service, and F and I are off to the doctor’s office. We have our first Shingles vaccine scheduled. F gets it for free, we have to pay for mine.
Anyway, come back later if you like and hear about my day. If the vaccine affects me badly I might skip, but otherwise, I’ll talk to you soon. Until tomorrow….
