Wednesday - Sunny but mostly cool

This morning, I woke up when F was getting ready. I’m not sure if I woke up because I’ve been waking up at this time for the last few days or because F made a noise while getting ready. I got up and went downstairs. I didn’t go back to bed while he was still in the room, but I did soon after he left. I watched videos and snoozed a bit, then finally got up and dressed.

I went downstairs, got my breakfast stuff and brought it upstairs to eat. I also decided to watch the episode of FBI that I missed on Saturday. It was a good one about domestic terrorism.

I went downstairs around 2:30 to make my lunch. I realized when I checked the fridge that I had forgotten to buy myself some luncheon meat. Darn! Oh well. I took my lunch upstairs and ate while I watched another episode of Elsbeth. It was a Halloween one.

I watched the news and then thought about getting ready to go downstairs. I took my stuff down and a few minutes later F came back. He’d called earlier but I’d missed the call. We did talk, but he was already in Tsuruoka at that point.

Tonight I was quite busy in the kitchen. I had to wash the salad as I bought a baby-leaf one, make some cucumber pickle and then I had to prep the ingredients for our main dish, buta-kimchi. It went well and I had it on the table just a couple of minutes late. F even took seconds of the main so that was good. K had some too and so did I. There was even enough for both of our lunches tomorrow.

I did the dishes afterwards and listened to a podcast about Rom-Coms. The movie of note was The Cutting Edge which is one that I love. I haven’t seen it in a bit.

After the dishes, I did up the garbage in the kitchen and then F helped me with the stuff in the living room. I put the full garbage bag in the genkan for F to take out later.

I went upstairs to relax and watched some YouTube. Around 10:15 I went back downstairs and took a shower. It was a relaxing one which was nice.

I came back to the room and watched tonight’s episode of The Copenhagen Test. It was quite good, and wasn’t stupid, which I’m happy about. WOWOW is showing more made in Canada/Canadian shows now which I like. It must be to save a little money!

F went to bed a while ago and does seem to be sleeping soundly. He doesn’t sleep that well these days.

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I might do a bit of laundry or I might write a letter or more postcards. Hmm. Decisions, decisions!

Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
