Wednesday - Hot and Sunny, rainy at night

Well, if you remember, last night around 2 am K came to our bedroom door and pounded on the door to “check” on F. She was worried about him. F sent her off after a while and then had himself a little snack and a drink. I went to bed around 3 am (same as usual…yes, really.) 

Guess what happened at 4 am? K came back to our door and pounded on it again to “check” on F’s condition. I’m not sure if F was asleep then or not, but I sure was. I managed to fall back asleep fairly soon afterwards, but F didn’t manage to. He called in sick to work today. I am not terribly happy about that or what on earth was going on in K’s head. Sigh.

When I woke up, I sent F off to see his doctor. He went after he made breakfast for his mother. I slept rather late!

I got up, dressed and a little later F came back to the house. Of course, I had just made myself a nice cup of tea and he wanted to go out for lunch. He wouldn’t wait so I left my tea and went out with him. He wanted to go back to the place we went a couple of weeks ago, it’s a little tiny place run by one man.  The stools he uses are terribly small and uncomfortable, but F really wanted to go back. We did. I had a pork dish, it was pork with eggs, rice and miso soup. I did like it, but it was a little messy. F had ramen which was a fried ramen and he was a bit surprised. He said that it was okay which I think was F-Speak for he didn’t really like it. 

After lunch, we visited a bank machine for F and then we went over to Komeda and had some iced coffee. After that, we walked over to MaxValu and did the grocery shopping for the next couple of days. 

We came back to the house and put away the groceries. We both went upstairs and relaxed for a bit. I watched the recording of the news and just chilled for a bit. I went downstairs around 6 pm to get started on dinner. 

Tonight I made dinner. We had steam shabu-shabu, salad, steamed cabbage, rice and leftover Greek-style salad. K and I had dessert too. F and I had bought us ice creams when we were shopping. F went upstairs after the first course so K and I had our ice creams. 

I did the dishes and put everything away. I started on the garbage. I texted F to let him know that I was starting to put things out and he actually came down to help. I’m afraid that I didn’t expect that he would come and help…but he did! 

After we finished the garbage, I went upstairs to relax. I had to turn on the AC upstairs as it was roasting again. This is after 9pm, but it was over 30 degrees in my part of the room. 

I relaxed over on the bed with F for a bit and then got up and watched some YouTube. At 11pm I watched The Copenhagen Test again. I’m really enjoying it. I think there is only one more episode…it’s very exciting. 

And that’s about it for my day. Happily K hasn’t come upstairs tonight. I hope she doesn’t!

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, come back later and find out. Until tomorrow….
