Thursday - Hot and Sunny

I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I went downstairs and then came back to the room. I turned on my fan and set it so that it would cool me in bed. Then, I went back for a snooze and a bit of video watching.

I got up later, dressed and headed downstairs. I got another letter from my bestie but I haven’t answered the one I got on Monday yet. Oops. I grabbed my yogurt and brought it upstairs to have breakfast. I had to turn on the AC around noon as it was already over 30 degrees in my side of the room. 

After breakfast, I decided that I’d work on my pyjamas again, but on the other side of the room. At first I was going to watch some TV, but then I realized I had watched it already. I got one side completely finished on my pjs, I have another big hole to darn and then I should be about done. I hope they will be wearable then. 

I went downstairs to get my lunch and brought it upstairs to eat. I decided to watch an episode of Departure today and it was rather good. I liked it anyway. 

I watched the US news mostly, and then relaxed for a bit. I got a call from F and he told me that his uncle had died, his paternal uncle. I didn’t really know that he still had an uncle as he just never talks about that part of his family. 

I went downstairs to start dinner. F arrived a little later and we talked about his uncle. F is going to the after cremation thing on Saturday, but I don’t have to. He was considering taking tomorrow off work, he could take it off as a special bereavement day, but I think he’s finally decided not to do that.

Tonight I made a couple of dishes and used some prepared foods too. I did a cucumber pickle again, plus I made some sautéd mushrooms. We had burgers from the store, a new brand as I got them at MaxValu. They were good, but a bit expensive. So, we had some salad and some kabocha salad too. It wasn’t a huge amount of food, but it was enough for us. 

I went into the kitchen afterwards and did the dishes. I went upstairs when I was finished and relaxed with a bit of YouTube. When F came upstairs I announced I was going to take a shower.  I went downstairs and did that. F had said that he was going to take one too, but he waited until well after 11pm. At 11 I was watching The Rookie which was a bit interesting. It had a plane full of criminals crashing in LA. 

I turned off the TV when the show was over. I have been watching some YouTube for a while and then just doing my end of day things. 

Tomorrow I might finish mending my pjs or I might write some postcards or a letter. It depends on what I feel like at the time!
