Friday - Hot and Sunny. Urgh!

This morning, I did wake up just before F’s alarm went off. I looked at the clock and then I went back to sleep! I woke up later when my alarm went off. I got up and went downstairs. When I came back to the room, I sorted out the last of my laundry and put the basket in a place to take downstairs later. 

I went back to bed and slept and watched videos for a while. It was so hot in the morning. It was already about 28 degrees in the room when I got up first.

I went downstairs and started my laundry eventually. I got my yogurt out of the fridge and brought it upstairs. I had my breakfast while I waited for the laundry to finish. 

I had a quiet afternoon really. I did write a couple of postcards for Postcrossing today, and I received a card in the mail today too. Later on I scanned the cards and uploaded them to the Postcrossing site. 

I went downstairs a little late to get my lunch. I made it and then brought it upstairs to eat. I watched an episode of Lie to Me. It was about a series of bombings. It was an okay episode, sort of. 

F called me after 5:30 to say he was on his way back but was going to stop at the store. I asked him for juice for his mother and some coffee creamers for me. I went downstairs a little later to get a start on dinner.

I got things ready in the kitchen but F didn’t get back to the house until almost 7pm. He had gone to two groceries to get my coffee creamers. I think he’s a keeper! 

I kicked dinner into higher gear and started to set the table. Dinner was on the table fairly quickly and was decent. I thought it was good. Most of the food disappeared so yay.

I did the dishes and then went upstairs with a can of root beer. I enjoyed that while I decided what to watch. I was upstairs before 9pm so I decided to watch a show and then maybe a movie. I put on an episode of Evil and then after a long search for something interesting on Prime, picked Lady MacBeth with Florence Pugh. It was very good, a bit slow, but engrossing. It was not, however, a feel good, happy family movie. I like films like that, many people don’t. 

I turned off the TV when it was over and then I started doing my usual internet stuff. 

Tomorrow is going to be a bit of an interesting day. F has to go to the cremation thing for his uncle. I have told him that I am going to go out while he’s away. I have no wish to stay at the house like I do every day when he’s not around. I might go to S-Mall and just relax. K should be going to her Day Service, so I’ll have to make sure that I’m back to the house before she is due to come back. I can do that.
